Just watched the finale of Andor. Utterly amazing. The post credit scene was a bit juicy as well

I feel like we now need a new thread.
Something like 'Geeks Paradise'
Weirdo’s Lair
Keith’s Corner then

Move away from the geek talk.
Currently watching Nomadland. Wasn't sure I'd like it but pretty good.

It's like when my dog sniffs something really interesting in the grass and can't hear me no matter how hard I shout. Even with his big floppy ears!!!
You guys are in the geek zone:face_with_tears_of_joy: :face_with_tears_of_joy:

Me and my son play Star Wars Armada on tabletop. Bloody love it.
Is that Star Wars X-wing but with capital ships involved?
Oh yes
Does it work well with the capital ships? I played loads of X-wing when it came out.
It does. Better with more capital ships and the squadrons of fighters are a great addition as well. I’ve got a nice collection. Not bought a super star destroyer yet but it’s on the list
I really loved the idea of getting the capital ships involved ("Its a trap!" scene springs immediately to mind ) But given how big the X-wing and Tie models were my ocd would not allow for odd scaling with the bigger ships. So my stupid brain would need a 3 metre long super star destroyer Would take up the whole table!

Tainted Grail
My best mate came round with Moonstone: The Game last week, great game, plays really well with very few rules.
iF you want to go more geek Deadzone is a simple but complex sci-fi game.
Nice one can you play it solo? I’m all about solo gaming!
Just bought Sleeping Gods, Tainted Grail and Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion also late pledged for ISS Vanguard. Eyeing up Oathsworn, Robomon or Arydia if I save up some Christmas money!
Not sure Moonstone can be solo play, you could probably adapt the Deadzone rules to play solo.
Some good games in that list!

@john-folan There was so much Star Wars stuff at Comic Con and I kept thinking "I know John mentioned this on the forum"
I’m going to Star Wars Celebration next year. Can’t wait.
