Set & Forget Football Strategies

@martin With this LTD strategy, is it still set and forget or would you cash out after a goal. Is it not risky if it was 1 0 with 1o mins to go?
Also, as I am new to this forum and there is so much content, is there a way that I can find my posts to see if they have been replied to? -
@ronald-abbey that's perfect, i knew I'd seen it somewhere. Thank you

@matt-ayles if you look on the google spread sheet for set and forget strategies and click on each one of the strategies the odds rules are at the top in column 1 (most of the time in bold print)
-
Are there any odds restrictions for Martins over 1.5 backs? Like in Tomasz unders you need 3.5 or lower in order to enter. Are there any such rules for the overs?
-
Hi all,
My stakes at the minute are £25.
So when I lay, the liability is more like £100 on the Lay under 1.5.
However on the back strats that I do, I still only stake £25. Meaning that on my under 3.5 and over 2.5, I am winning back less than the £25 for winners.
Should I be matching the same risk as my Lay under 1.5. So on my backs, do I stake higher to win £25 if it comes in? Is it just about risk appitite?
Thanks

@nick-allan grab them in the morning

@martin Can i ask how you get the odds for recording these startegies, for example for Dan LTD how do you get the draw lay odds? are they to BSP? or do you record them on the morning you select them maybe? or is there a way on BF of seeing the KO odds after the game?

Martin/Dan could you share (or point me in the direction of) Dans LTD filter please. The exact same as recorded on the spreadsheet as I think he tinckered with it a couple of months ago so not sure if I have the correct filter. Thanks

I appreciate that the closer to kick off the better, but what is the upper limit that you would place a trade before kick off? Thanks
I should add the only other consideration is the liquidity in the market getting better as you get closer so that will depend on your stake levels obviously

The market can move in any direction Joe at any time, and you only know which way in hindsight.
So some trades would have been better placed earlier some last minute, and you're not going to know until later.
They'll even themselves out over the long term. So as others have eluded to, put them on when convenient to you. -
@nick-allan let me know what you find out, my next big update will be during the World Cup, will actually have a fair amount of data on Euro leagues as got a few months from last season too.

@martin im going to look into this more over the WC break and make a decision on trading them in the future., lots of work for very little back, sundays i prefer, i also love doing the research on a sunday morning with the politics shows

@joe-beeston Whatever is convenient really as that’s one of the key benefits behind set and forget! I tend to do mine at 4am as that’s before I go to work but on days off it may be 10am. Over the course off 100’s of bets then I think the small differences will even themselves out
I’m the same as Lee will post them before work so anytime before 9 if wfh and before 7 if I’m the office.
I’ve also placed the night before on occasions as set and forget

Hi,
Probably me not explaining myself correctly.
For example, if a match kicks off at 12:30pm, how early would you place your set and forget bets?
I appreciate that the closer to 12:30 the better, but is there a timeframe that is acceptable. For example within 2 hours/4 hours etc?
Hopefully that is a bit better question...my bad on the previous one

@joe-beeston not sure I understand the q
