How much profit vs stake do you guys aim for? I find i don't get much even when i win, so when i lose it takes weeks to recover.
Would be better if when you won it covered the next couple of games etc should you lose.
I found doing run lines creating middles can minimise trades on t20s and lock in good profits if you hit. If you get your entries right very rarely do you have it go against you and run a loss. My rule is I never lock in a "reverse middle", if it goes against me I'm happy to lose my stake.
Andy, can you explain more ? For example..'middles'
Apologies.
Say the run line hits 180 and you think it's too high, you lay runs, say for 2 units. Next minute there's a wicket and run line drops to 170, you back runs for 2 units. Should the team score between 170 and 180 you win 4 units, anything else is a scratch.
Alternatively you could keep the collapse on side and just drip a 1 unit back. So below 170 is 1 unit win, between 170 and 180 is 3 units and above 180 is a 1 unit loss.
If you feel the batting side should drift or steam, chances are the run line will move with it.

@matt-ayles I guess the beauty of laying at low odds is that your selection doesn't have to chase/defend the total, there just has to be a little hiccup along the way
Unusually for Sri Lanka, there were no hiccups today
I think, as @Matt-Ayles has said, the best games for 1.1 strategy are the close match-up of teams. Also maybe to not trade on 1.1's after 16 overs in second innings, as generally by then the result is conclusive and unlikely to turn around.

@nathan-bennett last few games including SL this morning have been one sided and the markets have only moved in 1 direction...
I guess there's no way to predict which matches will recover from 1.1, and which ones won't... although yesterday and today there were low scores in the first innings on high scoring pitches so maybe avoid getting involved when the better teams are chasing low totals?
Maybe I'll have to ask myself, are this team capable of chasing/defending this total or is there no chance save a world record.

Been busy of late
Feel obliged to lay SRI 1.06

@matt-ayles a GREAT question . A lot of talk at times on accepting losses etc
IMO it is equally important if not more to focus on winning
Most occasions when enter a trade
I’ve accepted happy to lose all that investment with the aim to win what I want
Trade out for stake back 1/3rd stake back at double the odds ish and then focus on trying to make 3:1 on my money for next trade out to bank and assess the match from there
I want to focus my aims this way so I’m not f@&king around with minor stuff
#easiersaidthandoneSo many opportunities lately just stick to guns literally make 100’s and 1000’s

Must admit, the more i Trade, the more i realise that Strategies and Bots are the way forward.. ie take the emotion out of the trade. So, thereofre, i will be trying to concentrate more now on the 1.1 Bot and the Lay batting side on toss as mentioned before, and also sub 1.2 laying - especially with 20 over game which is so volatile in terms of price. Test matches is simple - lay the draw and i will stick with that.
I have been too guilty of letting emotion take the decision - time to stop. -

Well... this looks highly likely to be a 4th losing match in a row trading wise for me. Clearly not entering in good places.
me too, big loss on AUS, and stayed out of ENG game, and watched it as a fan.

3 out of 4 losses for me ...very unusual results not sure many could have trade and made money without big risks recouping initial wrong way expectancydont be too hard on yourself
