Women's Challengers?
-
I'm new to tennis and don't know much about how the tours work, but I've noticed that the Challengers I've been looking at all seem to be mens. Do women have them or is it just the WTA for womens tennis?

@Caroline-Middlebrook When I first started trading tennis I stuck to the ATP and WTA. The challengers are harder to trade for me and also less predictable. You could be trading someone who is 435 in world against someone who is 760 in the world. Anything can happen. I like trading WTA as there are more breaks of serve and also there are good swings when the ladies confirm their breaks by holding their own serve. Best of luck.

@mrs-h-m-price yes they will be the lower level women’s tournaments are usually ITF events e.g itf ototec although there may not be a market for a lot of these.
SofaScore and Flashscore categorise the tournaments better than Betfair

Oh I see. I guess what I meant is, on Betfair, when the markets are actually named "Challenger", are they always mens tournaments?

@mrs-h-m-price wta Budapest - Seoul and Tokyo are main tour events

What's the market on Betfair for it?

There’s a women’s challenger going on at the minute but they are few and far between. Any Wta125 tournament is a challenger.
Also with any challenger match, make sure the liquidity is there which it often isn’t especially if main tour events are going on at the same time.
