apologies if this is bleadingly obvious but on the strategy rules, is pace rank the runners ranked in order of how likely they are to lead? and can you have joint first , joint second etc? and where can you view it on the runner list on a racecard? ...or is it a rank that's attributed after the race has been run. thanks in advance

@john-folan superb, thanks a lot John, that certainly clarifies it...one last question, on the strategy builder I told it to return just one selection for each race so I assume this will then ignore races where there are more then 1 horse ranked 1st?

You cannot view it on a race card in rank, but if you look then they go in descending order under pace rating. So 12 being the highest then 10 etc and so on. If you click on the header it will sort the horses in pace rating order These are given to them before the race based on recent performance.
In the strategy builder it does rank them for that race so if there are two horses on 12 then they will both be ranked 1. Then depending on how they run in that race they will be given the same or different pace rating in the next race which will then affect their rank for the following race.
I think that makes sense.
