First time doing this (exporting) But this is one ive been working on. Laying the 1.50-3 dollar(pound) fav when beaten a fav last start.

@darryll I might be out spoken here but short price favs only win around 30%of the time so hes found the ones the dont win

@darryll I've always likes a short odds lay. The 1.8 to 2.3/2.4 odds range means the market isn't that sure about it. Especially if there are other horses in the 3.0/4.0 range.

When Adam get's it added I will be looking at things like the effect of the second favourite's odds etc.

@darryll Here in australia we have free software that shows Everything the software shows but NO ONE has the strategy software that BTC has available with qualifiers and back testing.

@john-folan I see it now. That's a much faster way thank you. Can I ask if there is any theory behind why your short odds lays strategy is profitable?

@darryll It shows the races class on the racing software home page when you click on the flag.

@darryll No on the horse software click on race cards, then whichever meet and the page that lists all the races at that course has the class

I got stuck with the likes of entryPriceFixed":1.01,"entryTimeRange":[1,3]

Yeah the entry price fixed is a bit cryptic. Not sure what that means exactly. But I'm pretty sure the values in the entry time range represent a what you select in the "Choose bet time" slider. So if it is "entryTimeRange":[2,3] it would be the following:

Because "Time before race" and "Race start" are the second and third selection on the slider respectively - if that makes sense.

It would probably be good to get this confirmed first though by someone who knows the strategy.

Further to this, I note I can go to somewhere like paddy power and see the class mentioned as I click through the races. So that's fine. I noticed this with some of them too. Not sure if it's because recent updates have caused some incompatibilities, but in most cases I could work out what was meant to be in the missing fields by reading the contents of the json file. They are quite human readable.

In the meantime if anyone wants a specific strategy just ask in here and I will upload it, most of these are in the presets anyway so you should already have access to them. I will update them all at the start of August along with the next results update
