@nathan-bennett how easy was that?
-
Early payday seems
-
Hooray... better late than never I guess
-
Gonna need a century at least from Mr Root
-
What on earth are England playing at? Just bowl Anderson and Broad, pitch it up and take the last two wickets for pete's sake!
-
Needed to be patient but paying dividends now
-
still holding on to that lay
-
Had a small lay of SA at 1.81
-
Still cloudy and humid... expect wickets all day. May well be looking to back England, as the SA batting looks pretty thin. None of their batsmen averages more than 40 in recent Test cricket. Will see how it looks once England have a few balls under their belt.
-
Still no entry for me. Will see what happens but I'm going to Southampton for the Hundred tomorrow so may not trade until day 3 if i enter at all.

Bad light could be the biggest factor from now on.
only for today.
As you say, any time lost will be receovered (possibly), therefore there will be a result you would expect.
just a matter of having a bank to cover the liability to get LTD at high odds. -

Could be some light rain soon I reckon, but heavy stuff likely around 4.30 onwards.

Draw price went down to 2.8, i loaded up at that and have greened up at 10, wouldn't be surprised to see if under 3 again. On an England lay now from 1.71.
Seen much worse starts from England to be fair, all part of the Bazball brand, give them a decent 1st innings lead and chase down with ease
Wont be under 3 again, not with 5 down at lunch on first day and clear weather forecast for days 2,3,4 and 5.
Hopefully get out at EOD with less damage and then try to recoup with LTD thereafter.
Ltes hope the 20 over Duke ball scenario rings true for this afternoonRecovery exercise for me
Ok, its Bazball, but ffs all you need to do is play straight with 1 ball left before lunch !

Where's this effing rain ????!!!!!!
Yeah my thoughts exactly!! My trading plan for this match was let the draw price crash and enter overnight... now I'm thinking I've missed the low odds.
yep, me too.
If i come out of this game with a green i will be surprised. -
@matt-ayles When it comes to thunderstorms you really cannot count on forecasts because exactly where they fall is extremely unpredictable. Radar is the only way, and it was clear from the outset that any rain was several hours away.
