@frode-lia Why has football become a high income activity in Norway? That seems terrible as it is literally the people's sport.

I am. I actually still work part-time. I left work during the pandemic and was utterly bored. Started drinking more too, so needed something to stop me sliding.
I'm still hoping to quit work, maybe this time next year, but for the moment I need it. Week by week, month by month, I'm feeling stronger, fitter and healthier!
The great thing with sports trading is that it can buy you time to do other things you really like to do. Just to trade full time is a lonley endeavour.
Besides trading I have I am running a football club for kids from low incom families in Oslo (playing football have become a high income activity here), I run three podcasts and invested in a start up called fcquiz.app (Football quiz app).
Would never managed that without trading. When the goverment made legislation on deposits and withdrawels from betting acencies and I was not able to trade for about eight or nine months I almost had to give up everything. But luckely I found a way out

@keith-anderson Well done. You deserve this And thanks for beeing a positive force in the forum!!!
-
@keith-anderson I will look forward to seeing what happens come the new season with this.
I think there's also a lesson here, you can be profitable over the longer term and tweak the strategies to fit your life and you.

A few things I'll be doing when the season starts (August):
-
I've ditched the LTD strategy. This has been my bread and butter for years. It was the first strategy that made my profitable, but I can no longer commit to it. My trading style has changed and I'm moving more to set n forget
-
1.5 Goals will continue with the highest bankroll I have ever had.
-
SHG: This strategy actually made me more money than the 1.5 Goals strategy last season.
-
Backing Under 2.5 Goals: I avoided this strategy for years, partly because I'm looking for goals and partly because I watched the matches I was trading. I can't ignore this any longer. Great in leagues that have low 1.5 Goals percentage
I've a business plan in place for my trading. I know exactly where I want it to go. I'm excited for the new season.

My trading season generally runs from August - May, although I still trade June & July, I like to take a percentage of my money out and spend it.
So,...
I've booked Disneyland Paris for October, Disneyland Paris for February (My Daughter is performing at Euro Disney). A Mediterranean cruise for July and I'm in the process of booking 2 weeks in Florida for next October.
Thanks Betfair
Well done........bastard haha!
Just showing it can be done

Depending on how the next few minutes go there might be a late goal in Wales vs Ukraine. Both teams going for it. Market still seems to suggest a goal though
Edit - I would have wanted 1.1 by now. Not risking much on a last chance. Plus Hennessy seems to be playing out his skin (which he never did for us!)

-
I don't about anybody else but I am loving the relegation/promotion playoff's in football right now goals galore!
-
@richard-latimer that sounds interesting I will give it a look
