Just a trob today, but currently trading outside the 3.5-9 odds range. I'm going to get these going properly on the horse software over the weekend. We would have had a successful trade yet again outside the odds filters. Still made a point. I'll be adding zero paced lays from the first of June. They are 16 points up forward testing. Pleased with those. Slow Horses is about 8 points up this month despite two losers yesterday. Well pleased with the software. Especially the short odds lays(that need a bot. Gone from a 10 point dip at the start of the month to 21 points in front. They are overperforming a bit at the mo.
What bots are you using I have Fairbot. Would I need betfair bot manager??

Trobs: Trob if within the 3.5-9 odds range only
Slow Horses: Dob any over 5 just before the off.
-
@keith-driscoll thanks mate Iβll bear that in mind. This is why I'm here to learn from more experienced people I'll look for a backing system over 50
-
@keith At prices over 50/1 on Betfair, you are getting great value, which means back bets only. If you lay, you are getting really bad value.
-
Just Slow Horses again today. Break even on these yesterday

Just a 300-1 winner in Punchestown today!
I have a lay system for horses stepping up in class I'm testing which has 100% strike rate for selections over 100 on BF at certain tracks (not for the feint hearted!)
Luckily the horse above didn't qualify as a selection!
Punchesdown certainly like their big races

Has anyone tested a strategy regarding how many 100/1 runners win/place in various types of races etc?
Or any other price ranges tbf... Punchestown has had 33s, 50s place and a 25s and 300s winner so far today.

-

Quite a good day yesterday. No dobs today. The shortinrunning has a massive list of potentials which can only be handled if you have a bot so I won't post.

Hi John
Are the shortinrunning selections from your own filters or is there a set of BTC software filters? How are they doing?
Thanks
KevinThey are from the btc filters. Iβve got an issue with results not matching but Adams sorting that. I just load them in Bfbotmanager everyday and let it handle placing them if they match the odds filters. They are in 3 points in profit after a slightly iffy start(4points downturn). Just letting them run along on a 1% compounding of stakes.
Same with the short odd lays I mentioned a while back. Theyβve gone from a 10 point initial drop to 17 points in profit. They are only able to be done on a bot basis as well.
Slow horses and zero paced dobs are poodling along at break even. Only expect 8-10 points a month from slow horses and 15-20 from the zero paced dobs. These donβt need to be bot based but it makes it easier on races with a few selections.
