Just the one lay of Under 1.5 goals tonight:

    19:45 -Glentoran v Carrick

I’ll be at this match. The game is also on Skysports tonight

    le jeu avant tout

    Am Yisrael Chai

When you got skin in the game, you stay in the game
But you don’t get a win unless you play in the game...

    Unbelievable ! i bailed out of my U0.5 on 89 mins !
goals in 91 and the softest pen ever on 95

Stuart if you're in the u0.5 market I assume you're LCS and looking for just 1 goal.

Look to treat this type of bet as a set & forget... You're only looking for 1 event to happen, ie 1 goal.

1 goal can come in the last kick of the game similar to yesterday's Aussie game.

Yes, the goal may not come but it could and you're only looking for 1.

Best of luck with your trading 👍

@stuart-wallace I'm on that one - never usually touch some of these leagues

I'll be moving the set and forgets to Betdaq in due course did have a small bit of money in there but blew that experimenting

I'm in that one too. Only doing min stakes on it as I have a baby bank, but queued my bet at 1.63. Gonna mainly be using £1 stakes until I'm comfortable with it (although the proof is already there).

Forgot that the odds we're going down and not up and wondered why I wasn't matched ha ha ha

Are you moving Matts to Betdag just to give better clarity over p & L?

@stuart-wallace Keith's and Matt's strategies are Set and Forget I wouldn't be bailing out if they dont work out so be it there are plenty of opportunities - other than this week when sod all going on

@richard-latimer Richard, what would be your criteria for bailing out.?

I never bail out so it's impossible to say. Like I said though, you want to be saving yourself at least 50% red or there's no point.

@keith-anderson The problem is , as we all know as footy fans, that it only takes 1 (or maybe 2 as per this morning) events for trades to 'work'. It didnt look like anything was happening in the game this morning (Keith has mentioned before about 'space') , and thats what has made me bail out and reduce my red, but look what happened. Need to lksten to you guys more, and it seems most of you dont follow the game once trade entry has taken place.

If you make a plan to bail out, by all means do it but absolutely no point doing so in the 89th/90th minute. You need to be saving yourself at least half the loss for it to be worth it in my opinion.

@chris-osborne Cheers Chris, appreciated. i have (almost) deliberately dabbled in many things (strategies,Keith,Matt etc)with the footy over past 6 months to see what works, doesnt work, fits me, etc, etc, etc, that i am almost ready ready now to settle on strategies with footy and also cricket which will always be my strong point - i feel like ive done my learning curve and ready to go full steam ahead.

@stuart-wallace think you need to decide between football and cricket for your main sport to trade.

From reading the cricket thread you seem to be doing very well there, if I we're you I'd focus on crcket and raise football trades as Set and Forgets only which means you dont look at the results until after they have finished or when you've finished trading. ITs what I do with Tennis - trade when I can but treat football more as Set and forgets.

When I joined BTC I was jumping all over the place, but when you pare things back you'll achieve and learn far more.

@stuart-wallace why would you bail out when you get so little back? Just curious?

Yes, you are right, its a problem i have with twitchy fingers ! Something i know i need to eradicate going forward. And thats why the set and forget might be a better option for me whilst i am learning more and more. I have set myself May as time to trade with a bigger bank, so discipline should be a lot better by then.

Just tie your hands behind your back after each trade 😄

Getting kinky since that night of passion with your lady friend aren’t you? 🤣

I do my trades as 'Set n Forget' so I don't get involved.

You do your trades pissed so you never know what you’ve done anyway 🤣
