    Well Betfair just screwed me.

Put a trade on and as it was counting down to take the trade, a goal went in and market suspended, so naturally the trade/bet should have cancelled. Nope instead it put me in at higher off, whilst on chat to get the bet canceled another bloody goal went in.

Explained what had happened and they basically said oh well too bad, you can have £10 back! Bloody scalping ha ha

What game is that ? - sounds like one i need to get on 🙂

Ha ha it was in the last few mins of the Vilafranquense v Rio Ave game

It looks like that exchanges banned Russian leagues mate. Betfair markets are suspended and on Smarkets I can't even find them

That will explain why there was nothing in Russian FNL over the weekend. Fair enough. Don't want to give them any publicity. Putin has sent Russia back to the dark ages hasn't he!

Yeah pretty sure they have, makes sense to leave them anyway a lot of foreign players and managers are walking out, so the data is not reliable from the past now.

@stuart-wallace from the little bit that I've used Fairbot I would recommend it. They offer a 15 day free trial so you can always do that and see. I was meaning to contact you about trying to set up some cricket bots. I messed around with the lay both teams at 1.4 and a scalping bot

Cheers Dan. Once ive sorted myself out after my house moving, i will be starting to research and implement via Fairbot, i'll give you a shout. Maybe about a month.

@Paul-15 good to see how your doing with Fairbot, got a week off its time I looked at software, mainly for tennis but would like to automate a couple of set and forget strategies.

pm me if you want the tennis bot. i'm a bit nervous about sharing it. not sure if using the lay first set winner filters are good for set and forget.

Thanks - I feel the same way would prefer to keep that as a manual trading the way I use it. @martin-futter's strategy would be a good one for set and forget

@paul-15 Thanks Paul, i have just renewed my Betangel sub for another 3 months, but might look to double up with Fairbot next month, and look to go that way.

I trade a lot on Cricket - I notice that Fairbot is an American product, i am assuming it will just have a list of Sports available like BetAngel which includes Cricket?

any market that is on betfair will be on fairbot

@paul-15 Paul, how easy was it to set up and maintain the bot? - you use Fairbot?

Fairbot is so much easier than betangel for automation. You can load up the selections in the morning and go about your day. I used ryans o1.5 bot but tweaked it so instead of greening up after a goal in the first half, it removes the liability and leaves profit on the overs. obviously this needs 2 goals to be profitable but ive found it works quite well. I also use google remote so i can watch my pc from my phone while i'm in work. easy enough
