Draw has come in to 9...dont know why.
Also draw has come in to 3.6 in AUS game, also dont know why.
Draw starting to drift a little - now at 3.8, and i'm showing a nice small green.

Yes, both tricky ones to predict for the correct value.
Think its a case of waiting to see what happens in first session for both.Rawalpindi rain looks like its going to be minor on day 4.
Pace seems to take most wickets, surprisingly, which could bring Shaheen into the equation should AUS bat first (who have had very little practice in PAK btw, and few of their batsmen have experience in sub continent), so might be a case of Laying AUS if they do bat first.Mohali has 1 draw in last 7 Tests, and will almost certainly end up as an India win - however to get the draw to move down might only happen should SL bat first and make a good start. 11 might be the best you can get.
No interruptions likely due to rain. And spin expected early.
Should India win the toss then their price will come in too. Might be worthwhile Backing Ind, as if they win the toss then more Indian money will pile on bringing the price in, however, if they lose the toss i would expect the price to remain the same. I wonder if it might be a test where you can Lay IND at , say, 1.02 with big money, hoping for a 2 or 3 tick scalp.I notice the next IND test is Nathans favourite....day/nighter.

Lucky us treated to 2 test matches!
Draw price for India v Sri Lanka is 10.5 which is crazy high. Weather looks fair throughout... what do we think here? Surely that will come in?
Pakistan v Australia draw price is 3.65 and there's threat of rain on day 4... there has been 3 draws in 11 tests at this ground and it does look good for batting historically. I'd expect that to come in too?
Thoughts?

Mass cricket about to kick off
Will post if enter

Reports are the pitch in Pakistan for 1st Test Pak v Aus is looking like a road.
An early back of Australia if bat first could be a good option.
-
Purely for information: England beat SA in their final warm up game last night comfortably.
I think the Aus v Eng game will be a belter but like your thoughts on strategy @Stuart-Wallace. As with anything in trading, having entry/exit points pre determined are crucial.

Just wanted to clarify Matts brilliant summary of the Womens WC.
Its an 8 team 1 league , so they all play each other, and the top 4 go through to the semis.
Out of Matts review, a couple of things look like my likely initial trading stategy....
- Lay ENG, expecting an early loss to AUS, and then cash out when they lose, and switch to back them
- Back NZ for at least the first 2 games, in expectation of them winning, and odds shortening.

@matt-ayles love it
Hopefully NZ weather behaves

@nathan-bennett yes mate, its a really intriguing competition.
Firstly, to explain my approach to any antepost trading, I like to look at events where there is a group stage so you aren't likely to be knocked out early, as I plan to exit before the knockout stages.
I have mapped the fixtures to see which teams are likely to lead early etc but overall its only really between a few teams.
Australia are clear favourites for good reason. They're a class above the rest and super consistent with it. The only games they've lost recently have been dead rubbers when they've experimented. Yes NZ beat them in a warm up match but that's the first NZ win in the last 13 H2Hs. Australia open against England, another pre event knockout stage fav, but who remembers the recent womens Ashes tour? I think Aus are certain finalists/likely winners.
NZ are hosts, they have a kind opener against WI which they should win comfortably. They then play Bangladesh before India. That should be 3 wins in a row before they meey Australia. I'd say NZ are another certainty for semi finals.
Now India are rapidly improving, however they're incredibly inconsistent. They beat the Ozzies/NZ/England in dead rubbers, but equally have been utterly humiliated in competitive matches... therefore their price seems way too short. I predict a battle for the final semi final spot between them and the hugely overpriced South Africa...
South Africa have a couple of likely wins before they meet the big guns. They have a poor record v Aus and England but a recent series win over NZ and India will give them great hopes of reaching the semis.
Interestingly SA play India in the final group game... could be a tasty one.
That only leaves England! Big price for me although somewhat inconsistent lately. Very tough opener against the Ozzies but after that match they should win plenty of matches to qualify. I have them as my second favourites which makes the market position of 4th favs most curious...
Therefore the 2 teams i think are priced incorrectly are England and SA... both of which I expect to make solid runs for the playoffs and therefore both will drop in price over the group stage.
Hopefully then I can create enough green to enjoy the playoffs.
