Filters Advice, Please ; )

I was going to post this is in the Private Coaching thread, but I can't seem to be able to create a new post there, so I have put it here instead.

I need some advice on what, if any, Filter to Add to my OV 1 FHG / LTD filter.

This is what I currently have set up

OV1 FHG Percentage Less than 75%

HT 1-0 Percentage Less than 75%

FT 2-1 Percnetage Less than 75%

This gives me a decent selection of games which is nice to have, but feel that I might be lacking one area, which is why I am asking for advice from those more experienced than me.

One filter I had thought of adding is SHG percentage on goals times, given that a lot of goals are score in the mad last 15 Minutes of a match

Exactly that, and from today I am back trading with a renewed confidence, having identified my 'weak point'

When you have a heavy hit, it makes you analyse and re focus, certainly understanding the filter was a massive plus for me, together with the advice given.

If you wanted a FHG filter why don't you try something simple like Overall HT 0-0 % less than 10 which would suggest 90% of games have a FHG. Not sure what that'll give you but you could adjust the % as necessary.

Ryan, excellent reply my friend, really appreciative and sorry for not replying sooner, I had an Opticians appointment yesterday and was wiped out afterwards.

I have done exactly what you suggested, with the 1st half goals filter, I set the filter for greater than 10% of FHG, and have a very decent chunk of games from across most of the leagues, with a lot of the %s being well over 70, so that will do for starters

Paper trading this last night on the Huddersfield/Stoke game, I had an entry point of 20 Minutes ( The goal came on 26) and an exit point of half time. The goal came on 26

I have played around with the %s going up and down.The filter seems to work better with the Greater than % being lower

But the helps is very much appreciated and has given me some clarity.

Also with your ideas for the site, I have replied on members feedback

@Ryan I have had a play around with the filter once back from my Eye Apointment.

I have changed the Filter % to Greater than 10% and have the following as Criteria

Criteria 1
OV Scored in H1

Criteria 2
Shots on Target H1

Criteria 3
OV HT 1-0

Criteria 4
Goal Times 51-60, 61, 70, 71-80, 81-90. 91+

This covers all the immediate angles I can think of as obvious for when I trade and it gives me a decent selection of matches to choose from.

i've found that by Increasing the percentages up by 5 or 10% gives you limited match selection, so It seems that Greater than 10% gives a broader selection.

Tonight I shall paper trade the top match choice.

However, if you want to give any advice about this, then I am open to listening.

@ryan because playing with the filter, this is what came up.I tried playing with the percentages going up and down and it showed me a selection

I'm open to advice on it and having looked at the lay any score filter in profitable members filters like the criteria in that.

What would you suggest in terms of greater than criteria please

I am confused if you are wanting goals in the first half how come you've set the filter to be less than 75% HT 1-0 and Over1 FHG %?
