@kevyn-clark on a semi serious note I dont record greens like these as positive trades on my P&L I list them as losses, in the same way as I give myself small credits in the P&L where I decide not to trade a marginal trade which loses when paper traded.

-
@kevyn-clark Now I just feel dirty
-
@Mark-Maguire it's a goal! they must have heard me
-
@mark-maguire like you I have a little nibble at LCS but I have just got back from being out and had not been available for most of the evening's action and was suffering from fear of missing out, this probably comes down to my lack of discipline, sounds like I need a checklist as well. It's interesting what you say about disallowed goals and missed penalties being warning signs I might have to give that some thought.
Let's hope there is a goal and we can rejoice at our good luck and move on to tomorrows trading.
-
@kevyn-clark I have had a little nibble LCS but I shouldn't have because it breaks three of my rules .. not on my plan, a missed penalty and a disallowed goal .. the latter two being on my warning signs list.. so I am sat here deciding whether to punish myself by losing the stake, or get out now.. and then thinking if I stay in and it greens, what penalty should I place on myself ..its the classic mistake of a decent night of trading being tarnished by one random act

3 lame ducks. No possibility of a trade today.

@daniel-mills really appreciate it mate.

@mark-maguire it rings a bell but to be honest, I have some other programming software on here that could be related to that. Every chance that you needn't bother.
I just tried my copy on another mac and it remembered all my login stuff so I'll hold back on sharing if you don't mind!
Pretty sure I followed this, or a video similar to compile fairbot into a .app file:
only the first 15 mins is relevant, mine loads up that windows explorer thing too and i just run fairbot.exe in that. Should set you right anyway.
edit: You might find this guys tutorial more useful / better:
-
@daniel-mills that would be great.. I'm trying now but so far its asked me to download two or three different updates .. getting clunky .. xQuartz.. is one of them ?
-
@mark-maguire on mine it loads up a virtual windows machine, from which you run fairbot. I'll have a look and providing my version runs on one of my other devices without any of my betfair info in (which it shouldn't), I'll try and get a DL link for you via DM. Shouldn't be anything dodgy about it as the fairbot app is freely available on their site.
IIRC, I had to do some setting up the first time I used Wine but now it's compiled its fine.
-
@daniel-mills Cheers mate.. for some reason it just wont load.. I'll try again .. :folded_hands:

@alan-steward Thanks Alan.. two reasons I'm looking (or three actually) one I tried to download fairbot using wine ...
You used wine to do downlonading! What sort of witchcraft is this?!! I was always under the impression liquids did not mix well with electronics, as evidenced when my best mate poured his glass of baileys into his keyboard one New Years!
Guys, I'm on a Macbook running Fairbot via Wine. It is absolutely rock solid. I just leave it running all the time now.
so, +1 recommending it

@keith-anderson Cool so far so good then well done

@stuart-wallace @Matt-Wood don't start me on sticky keyboards - My seven year old had my MacBook last week and its still recovering ..
