Windies look good value at 1.45 v Ireland even with 4 wickets down

If the weather holds, i think this is going to be an extremely tough day for England to survive. Hameed and Crawley are walking wickets, nos 5,6 and 7 are all crocked , and with 3 No 11's , this is going to be very, very tough. Think it will need max of 2 sessions to see them off personally.
Thought Pope did well behind stumps, especially with the Root bouncer !

I had wondered if perhaps the lack of intensity from the Aussies bowlers last night was intentional, knowing there will be more in it for them in the morning session.

Looked through previous 22 years of tests here, 5 out of 24 matches ended in draws, 2 very much weather effected with a full day and 2 full days play missed, another with sessions lost on day 1&2 which left 2 draws both between Aussies and India with much higher first innings totals

I'm definitely not ruling England batting the day out, I think they are starting to show the grit required but there is definitely a long day ahead of them.

I'm happy to lay the draw, confident there will be at least one occasion where momentum will switch back in Australias favour and i'm just assuming now that weather will not be an issue.

Probably famous last words, but you have to say the Aussie bowlers don't look at all threatening so far. Not ruling out an England survival mission on the final day.

Mate the forecast for tomorrow has improved and looks better than what todays did but I just can’t trust it based on recent performance.

I’ve greened up with a tiny bit of green.

Weather forecast has been horribly wrong. We should be under water at the moment according to forecast.

Good to see the draw price drifting nicely. Amazing that at one stage it dipped in to 1.27, which is hard to understand given that the weather forecasts have been nonsense for the majority of the match.

Looks like another survival mission for England, and with Stokes, Bairstow and Buttler (not that he ever scores any runs anyway) nursing injuries, it looks a giant uphill task.

Having said that, four of the last seven matches here have ended in draws, so you never know!
