@johnnys I remember him, good kicker if I recall correctly!
Correct @Martin he is in the hall of fame and he has all the records a kicker can get, only he never did win the super bowl.
He is such a great down to earth person and today he sometimes is one of the NFL commentators for the danish tv statioen.

@martin
The Madden games i also did play that game in the good old days, today i not play so much, trading did take the seat now.
In Denmark we can thank the danish kicker Morten Andersen for open up the (tv) doors to NFL, it was becourse of him they did begin to show NFL games on a danish new channel in tv back then.
I still get the chills today when i see this 38 yard field goal in overtime against the Minnesota Vikings from Morten Andersen, it is from 17 Jan. 1999 and to me, that was on the same level as when Denmark defeated Germany 2-0 in the Euro 92 final
That kick did take the Falcons to their first ever Super Bowl appearance with a 30-27 win over the Vikings.

@johnnys NFL is my favourite sport, well more accurately American Football as I watch lots of the college games too.
Yeah time is an issue, I tend to catch up a lot on Gamepass the next morning without knowing the scores which helps. I think the days of me staying up for the Superbowl are behind me now!
I pretty much learned all the rules through playing one of the Madden games when I was a teenager, so that was a benefit of a wasted youth!

@johnnys these are really good! how do you make your selections?
Thank you @Martin but it was a darn close call, packers did throw it all away in 4 quarter
crazy of them, but in the end they did win, but as a packers fan i was close to get a heart attack
and no i not have feelings involved when i take a trade or a bet in this case.
Well i am from Denmark and we been so "lucky" they did show nfl for the last 25 years or so in tv, 3 games sunday, and 1 monday, and 1 thursday and i been a Packers fan since these early days so i have an "idea" about how the odds shut be and what team shut be able to beat another team and so on.
That said, i take a quick look at the stats and i make up my mind who i think shut win and who will make TD any time and that part (TD any time) is a little gold mine i think, over the years it did pay me fine fine no complaine there
Yesterday i saw the odds on a packers victory was 1.28 and that was to low i think, so i did combine that odds with who will score a TD any time and in this case i know the packers team, but i take a quick look at the stats and i check up on how often a TD is made by x player and i check up on the injury report for the gameday and if i see a "green ligt" and player x is on fire then i often take a bet on who score a TD any time.
That is also one of the only situations i use the sportsbook on betfair else i am only to find on the exchange.
There is no magic here, just not ovethink it and often the odds on x player to score a TD anytime is ok to take or else maybe combine the odds with with something else in the game and as i did mention this is the only time i use sportbook .
I am getting old so it more hard now sit all evening and night to watch nfl, i think you have the same "problem" Martin when you follow cricket, the time difference not get easy as years fly by
btw, i think my next trading goal must be learning how to trade on cricket
i did read all about it, so i think maybe its time to take action even it seems so confusing all these new words there is for me in cricket
but i can compare that with nfl, i also remember it was sooooo confusing back then when i did begin to follow nfl and packers and must learn all these new rules and so on

@johnnys What I meant was the Ravens have to win or there season is as good as over so they may be forced to risk Jackson
-
@Chris Osborne - true, but do also have in mind, that it is unlikely QB Lamar Jackson will play against the Packers, so i think that Ravens are more in a bust situation than in a win situation
-
@johnnys Agreed but Ravens are in a win or bust situation so they may have no choice but to take the risk especially as Browns are decimated by covid
-
@Chris - Lamar Jackson did not practice this week and i am not sure if he gonna play or not, its like the team news is 50/50 on this topic and to be honest, if he is not ready 100% i "hope" he not play, becourse that can make a bad dream to a potential nightmare
-
@johnnys Look's pretty good to me alot on the first one is going to depend on whether Lamar Jackson is fit which seems unlikely but the PAckers shiuld still have too much although who knows this season.
I'm not sure on Jones anymore get the feeling PAckers are phasing him out and going with AJ Dillon as RB
