Hey guys
I have been scalping the football markers a lot lately - with Nice results.
Until now i havent really had a Staking plan. For Those of you who is scalping football - how many % of your bank are you staking? 2, 5 or 10 perhaps?
Lets say my bank is 2000.
.
Do you scalp the endgames of the matches? Or only earlier i the games?I would like to make some rules for my scalping. And maybe even start a blog on my journey from 0 to ?

@mark-maguire that’s very interesting! May try the same myself to isolate when/where things go awry

@andy-donnelly I'm less than a year into this and its probably the third time in that period that I've been an idiot, on the whole the direction is good but that mental discipline appears to be what seperates the proper traders on here from people like me. Thats why I spend so much time on my data - analysing the Reds and looking for commonalities because then that gives me a set of disciplines to trade in play, my filters are performing at 90% across the board on good odds but that becomes worth nothing when I ignore the big sheet of paper I have laminated in front of me which is titled "Don't be an idiot" and lists the staking rules and red flags. Like you've said refreshing the mind with the videos from Martin and Ryan is invaluable.

@mark-maguire I’m only early into my trading journey but last night was very frustrating for me too. Thought I’d vastly improved on the discipline front and stopped chasing losses, but for whatever reason it reappeared yesterday and also got involved in games such as the Real Madrid game that were never in my plan. Started today by listening again to one of the guys podcasts on discipline and have wrote some notes on what went wrong and what I need to improve! Back to the drawing board on that front!

Public confession time to remind myself idiocy will hurt my trading. I've had a brilliant couple of weeks with great growth in my trading and then last night I got too clever for my own good, ignored my own rules and chased, it was all about the Haugesend/Rosenborg fixture which had come up on more than one filter, one of which hadn't had a red for over 30 matches, and all of which are performing - but I ignored my in play rules which should restrict my staking if the action isn't there, like wise I ignored the match odds red flags I've created and I traded anyway. The loss wasn't huge but undid a couple of days work when it needn't have but the lesson once again was bigger and here I am giving myself a public clip round the ear.
