@martin said in BTC Cricket Trading Thread:

@matt-ayles nice one you following a team? I'm going for Manchester as I live close to there and know it well.

Good trading match last night with a comeback against the odds, looks like it's even easier to turn things around quickly in the hundred as getting bowled out is even less likely than Twenty 20

I will be supporting Southern Brave as I live in the south, and I'll be going to the Ageas for matches.

The Hundred starts tonight. I have been looking forward to this competition for a while now. I have tickets to a few matches.

Will be interesting to see the sorts of liquidity the markets get on debut. I imagine it may be similar to when the IPL started?

Backed Pakistan at 1.80 with Rizwan and Babar flying after 11 overs and 200 on the cards. Will stay open till end of Pak innings.

Betfair was suspended but dunno for how long. I’m out and about now so was able to close out with Zim at 3.0 after laying at 2.10. Will see what the rest of the day entails if anything.

@doug-sharp I would assume that because County cricket is 4 days, plus the way in which points are distributed both teams might be more incentivised to play out a draw rather than one going all out to win. It's not uncommon for teams to have lots of draws over the season.

Taking today for example, of the 9 matches there's only 1 that is likely to not end in a draw.

Does anybody lay the draw in County cricket or is it international tests only??

Brilliant chase from England and they bang on about India’s depth! Hung around a touch too long after Gregory fell but all in all happy to finally have the time to trade some limited overs cricket properly and shake out some rust. Hoping I have time to trade some more before Sunday.
