Gone for a small lay of SA @ 1.16 which I’ll monitor this afternoon - this evening some fight back from WI yesterday so hopefully the batsman can and do show some fight also today.
-
It couldn’t be anymore miserable here in Southampton this morning the weather forecasters got it spot on.
-
@dj-reid I’ve had a little lay SA . 1.3’s be nice to take some red out and see what happens
May only take another 15 runs . Some attack they’re facing tho
Short term trade or lose thisNZ IND draw market likely to be very thin during day and later
Hoping two full days play tues weds and some pressure to that market with runs and wicketsI’m sure @Richard-Futter will have some clarity aswell
-
Thanks for all the comments yesterday guys.
@Nathan-Bennett do you mean for the NZ v India or the WI v SA match?
Am I right in thinking highly unlikely WI are going to hit that 300+ run chase and if their odds come down around 4.0 they are worth a lay?
-
What price draw after today
Anyone launching a lay after today -
Nothing wrong with a small lay SA . WI do have two days to win a test
Lay to Back oppourtunity market obviously slowly react to runs partnership of evolves
My target examples
[email protected] lay
[email protected] back -
2.0-1.7 change of INNS and a couple overs
#angles -
Thinking this test could be the greatest low scoring test ever
Let’s hope -
Go on NZ !!!!
Draw 1.91-1.86 as 9th wicket falls
Classic -
A good morning this. The loss of wickets actually seems to be shortening India's price as the draw becomes less likely. Very unusual.
-
@richard-futter trimmed on that pole my eyes ha
-
The sensible move under these circumstances is probably to lay India - if they go off they'll drift, if they lose wicket they'll drift even quicker.
-
Fingers crossed here.. huge for potential threat to draw market
Dude who likes to up the tempo now rolls in -
Having said that, the light does look bad. So difficult to predict when it comes to the light; give me heavy rain showers interspersed with sunshine any time.
-
@dj-reid how’s things . the price is pretty thin to lump with close to full day possible when play starts obviously late on light could play a part . What i like to say to myself is what happens first say 1.2 or does it ease to a stop loss point of your choosing like say 3.5-4.0 and cop it sweet
Just an example
Reckon now with the news of potential days play the price worst case will hover close to what is currently is give or take until later in day
Obviously drifts with wickets , unsure when IND would push the button on trying to build the run rate
What will sharpen the draw price is change of INNS and say NZ start 10-0 after 6-8 oversNovel sorry ha
-
@dj-reid I definitely would not be backing the draw at the current price. They'll play until 7 today; tomorrow looks bad, but there's every chance of full days of play on Tuesday and Wednesday. If you put a gun to my head I'd rather be a layer than a backer.

Umps have set a standard with bad light now ... next two days weather dodgy ? draw maybe 1.2's coming days today even
20 wickets could be a challengeA back of the draw now a good shout?

Very light but persistent drizzle here this morning. Covers are on its grey and miserable and also at the moment no sign of the teams at the ground. A start on time at this stage seems unlikely hope I’m wrong tho.
