Laid Wales and will have the draw on my side too. Think Switzerland are a good price here bit wanted to keep my options open.

    Morning gang,
1 point green to kick off last night with a lay U1.5. To get the Euro’s up and running.
Today I’ve laid U1.5 in Wales v Switzerland at 2.50.
If I get time to post others today I will but it might be tricky especially the above match. 🍻🍻

Birthday party over. Beer cracked and 1-1 for 1 point green.

I know a few traders, myself included, wanted to use this tournament as a learning exercise. Based on the IPS and watching the game it seems Switzerland are most likely to score and possibly go on and win it.

I appreciate this is when the risk / reward comes in. Do you have a set price before entering say O.5G? Or would you back Switzerland because it’s pretty much one way traffic and it’s better odds than at KO? Or is it something that professional traders would have had a plan before KO which stated if X happens then I’ll do Y?

Just trying to think as a newbie and wanted to make the most out of this tournament.

I think minimum odds limits are important, testing is the easiest way to find out what works for you regarding entry times and prices.

Value is ultimately king, I'm not backing a second half goal at 50 minutes at 1.1 just because a goal looks imminent. However if I think a goal comes at least 3 out of 4 games then I will enter at 1.35+ at the same stage.

@chris-osborne @Dan-MacKinnon This tournament and membership on here is a massive learning opportunity for traders like us. I suspect we might not even consciously realise all the things we learn. 🙂

@dan-mackinnon Definitely as I said this last night, I'm using this as tournament as a learning opportunity for spotting inplay opportunities.

@chris-osborne I guess most of my questions can be answered with “if in doubt, paper trade to find out”

This is definitely a great learning opportunity and looking forward to it. I didn’t manage to act on the Switzerland goal but there’s plenty of opportunities.

Wales sitting to deep Switzerland the better team but Wales look dangerous on the break - Wales need to score 1st for me otherwise will be difficult for them the longer the game goes on
