Second time cricket trading - and came away with decent profit.
First time golf trading too - did even better - but it seemed a little more stressful than cricket.
Probably should have greened up a bit earlier rather than hang in there for the extra profit ( which turned out ok ), but hey, I'm learning! -
Will be interesting to see how the market is set for game 3 with a fair whack of the SA side about to leave now for the IPL.

Wow! One of the great ODI innings by the unfortunately named Pakistan opener. Thought he was going to join Rohit Sharma in a pretty special club there. Thought for a minute he might even pull it off.

great deck this felt SA got to short too quick , still staying in this for PAK inns see if can get 1.75 later in match for insurance .., else all good

@nathan-bennett Yeah being new to cricket trading and seeing the amounts actually matched on a game - I thought there will be some heavily messed up when exchange went off! Terrifying!

Just caught SA PAK highlights farrrrrrr out madness after squared trades also forgot to have standard peanut on tie that could been sick ..., sick on top of Betfair outages recently costing me plenty

Back of Pakistan at 2.16 with the great Babar set and Pak closing in on DLS. Half liability removed at 1.65. We’ve had 20 overs so if rain plays spoil sport Pakistan well ahead of the game at this stage.
Greened up now at 1.35 cracking day outside. -

@anthony-ariss welcome you'll love it ... yes draws are scarce but another one possibly looms here ... personally have a lay of WI at the mo if wicket or two be tempted to lay again if batters set for a trade . dont have to much faith in bowling and pitch at mo . day 5 markets the best .
on other hand if i was a keen draw layer would lay now and again if went into 1.5 , all with the aim of trading some out at double the odds example and importantly this stage of a test for me these entry points would except loss if went against me . test trading in perfect world build green early then take your position on result if feel like it -

First time trading a test match - green'd up tonight guaranteeing £40 profit whatever the outcome.
Any more experienced cricket betters got any tips for tomorrow? Lay the draw and hope for early wickets?

Dunno what was most strange about that session. Chandimal going out to a hook shot whilst being set up for said hook shot or DDS not referring an LBW when they had 3 reviews left and have 4 number 11’s in the shed. Really poor from senior players.

@nathan-bennett yeah other than the occasional ball that’s kept low and occasional is a stretch the Windies could be in for some long graft today is they don’t strike regularly. Chandimal has looked good for a change and Dickwella obviously will get the RR ticking but there is also the element of SL having quite the tail so will be fascinating 1st session.
