Looking at the shg strategy was working during what the exit point is and also the best way to back the second half goal , is it on the over under market? So 1.5 above current score ?

@liam-willis spot on mate, value is value regardless. many people care too much about labelling something or categorizing things within trading, whatever type of bet/trade your doing it will involve some element of risk. Long term profit is all that matters in my opinion nothing else, all the things we do that can limit risk are what separates us from the average punter but that doesnt mean each market entry has got to be labelled a trade or a bet to win. If your doing a 2nd half trade be mindful that there is a heavy bias towards goals coming post 70 mins, so to be entering a trade with the intention to trade out before this time period can be more counter intuitive to risk than youd expect.

@jez-rourke-pilott i think people get too hung up on the is it a bet or a trade, as long as you are getting value it shouldnt matter, if you are getting in on a shg then assuming you have done your research, your odds are met then you expect a shg that for me is a trade, leaving it to run doesnt turn it from a trade to a bet, you can call it value betting if you like but the end result is still the same. There are too many times a very late goal is scored for me to even contemplate getting out.

I think when Gary was here a while back he used to lay under the +1.5 goal market at HT and then cash out after a goal or at 75mins.

@jez-rourke-pilott is this Gary's one on the member filters?

I back a late goal after 60 or 70 minutes and let the bet run.

I do not enter the trade if a second half goal has already been scored.
