My Journey Begins...

Hey, I'm Twig.
I'm brand new to trading and I'm here to learn. One of the reasons I chose to join BTC was the community aspect, and so I figure what better way to get some input than to start a blog of how I'm going.
As I said, I'm new to all this trading. I've gambled on sports in the past, just a few quid here as a regular punter. Then I found matched betting and have built a nice little bank of 3k, I'm basically using it as a savings account. But I know I can improve on that with trading, and your help!
Everything I know so far has come from reading and watching videos, I've dipped my toes into the water a little but onto those details in the next post.
I'm starting with small stakes, taking the green when available and pressing the dreaded cash out on the red when necessary to keep disciplined.
So thank you for reading, feel free to jump in with any comments, advice or constructive criticism (I'm an adult I can handle it!)
Twig.

Firstly a note. A mistake that I know I'm making, I'm not properly tracking every trade right now. I obviously have them in my Betfair history so I want to catch up once I get the chance.
Day 1
Began my trading by deciding on using Ryan's split stakes over 1.5 filter.
Had a shocker of a start, first two games both being 0-0 at 70mins with cash out losses. The next games all had early goals and I think I got a small green a little later on from another on the list.
I decided to follow the big football thread and jumped on a couple of LCS matches that Darri posted which got me back to roughly where I started.Fun day overall. I honestly didn't really care about wins or losses, it was about putting the trades on, being disciplined and learning in the process.
Day 2
Put on an Aussie game to watch live this morning, straight onto Betfair! For this game I had no stats of the teams or anything, just went on what I was watching and saw a good chance of goals. I went for over 2.5 and left it to run as goals were going in. At 2-2 I went in again at over 4.5 which came in just a few minutes later. At 3-3 and around 70mins I went for LCS which came in too.
I found it so much better being able to watch the match live and see what's going on.The next chance that I got I put another match on, Genk. Again I could see the teams were at least going for it even if there weren't actually many shots on target at the time. I went for over 1.5 split stakes at 30 and 50mins, with a goal coming at 51. I took the green this time.
I then went for LCS on the Liverpool match at halftime. I took the red hit when the big injury break came as I figured things would be a lot more cautious after that.
And that was that, day 2 and once again I'm sat at around the same pot as when I started so at least I'm not down.
