Thanks Neil - Yes it is quite inconvenient and restrictive. We can trade “in-play” but it has to be done via a phone call to an operator. The obvious issue is that process can take 30-40 secs. That is problematic for many strategies which rely on pace of execution.
Happy to be part of the group and confident can adapt some strategies to fit my circumstances.

Hello, good evening & welcome. Sorry to hear about the state of being in Aus, I thought things were quite good there.
I'm often surprised that we in the UK have complete being freedom. Usually it's minority rule here, a few people have an issue with something then we end up not being able to do that thing to protect the few. So every time I read about someone having a gambling problem, I expect restrictions on gambling.
In play trading is where the money is, so I feel for you on that. Good luck on your trading, there are some profitable set & forget things happening here at the moment.

I also neglected to mention that being in Australia I am limited on “in-play” betting due to our nanny state legislation so looking to learn and develop some strategies that will work within the restrictions here.
