Hi guys, I'm Mike from Wigan, have previously been a member for a short while but decided to take a break when my son came along but back now with a vengeance.
I actually work in the industry as a market maker/odds compiler/trader, and as such there are many bookies I'm not allowed to bet with so Betfair, Matchbook and Smarkets are my bread and butter!
Current trading goals are to get a steady secondary income and grow my bankroll slowly and surely.
Specialities are Aussie Rules, Snooker and Football. Love my US Sports also and like to try my hand at anything. Trying to get my head around the Tennis software if anyone can help? Are there any YouTube tutorial videos?Looking forward to being a valuable member of the community!
Cheers

@lee-watson Hi Lee. I mainly bet on the handicaps, or match price if close to pick em. I have a rating sheets that returns between 10-20% on the picks it spits out, I'll get more data and maybe open it up for everyone.

@mike-martin
Does this help....
These ratings and forecasts make predictions about this match will play out

Dominance Ratio: The ratio of return points won to serve points lost
Conversion: Break points converted vs return points won
Save: Break points saved vs service points won
Projected Hold: The player's expected service hold %, based on their historical hold %, the other player's break % and adjusted for the current court speed
BPS: Expected break points saved %
BPC: Expected break points converted %
TBx2(s): Probability of a player winning 2 consecutive tiebreak serve points
TBx2(r): Probability of a player winning 2 consecutive tiebreak return points

Hi Mike. How do you bet the Aussie Rules? Which markets do you focus on?

Mainly not sure on the acronyms! Under the forecast tab, PJH is obvs projected hold, not sure on the others and how to use them yet. Wanting to get Tennis in my toolbox as there's so much of it to trade!
