That I need to put the work in if I want to get better, there are no quick fixes.

Patience! And to relate to it as a hobby and not a way to make quick money (I.e gambling).

    Mindset and patience.

I am generally an impatient person, however, approaching 6 months into trading (as opposed to just betting) I appreciate that this isn't helpful, and have to rein it in, which I can do due to the change of mindset.

    Time and patience.
Understanding that it takes time and patience to go through the process, checking the results of the strategy against actual results, then adjusting and improving a strategy takes time before moving on to the next stage of that strategy
In my case automation is the next step with BF bot manager also this takes time to understand how that works its a long process hopefully it will be worth it in the end.
