Hi all, I'm Simon, just joined the community. At the start of this year I discovered matched betting, after 3 months of watching YouTube vids and researching about it (cos i knew nothing about it) I gave it a go and started making profit from sports books and casinos, and up until now I have a healthy bank, I've learnt discipline in what I do, with my bank and sticking with what works, and have got in the mindset of accepting losses knowing in the long run that if i keep going I'd benefit from what i was doing, during my matched betting journey I discovered BTC on YouTube, as with MB I watched loads of their vids and tried some of the strategies they were showing, bit of a hit and miss cos wasn't too sure of what I was doing but still very interested in trying more, that's why I've decided to become a member of BTC, just seems to be the natural progression for me from MB as the profit from that is now dwindling and the bookies gubbings are becoming more and more, so looking forward to this new opportunity for me, I'm a good learner so any hints or tips would be much appreciated.

Do it @Ryan, I feel comfortable with my transition into this even though I have very little to no experience at all but the discipline I learnt from matched betting and a bank that hasn't come from any of my own personal income makes it easier for me to give trading a go, move away from matched betting and give it my full attention now.

@Simon-Bates those videos are the best place to start.
£10 a day is achievable when you’ve got a strategy that’s scaleable. The strategy I shared in that £10 a day video was one that started with low stakes and could be scaled up.
You’ve inspired me to create a step by step video on the transition from matched betting to trading!

Hi @Ryan, thank you, the moment that decided this was my next move was the bookies gubbings and stake restrictions I was rapidly getting, I realised that by starting trading then this wouldn't be a problem no more and my opportunity for making profit could continue.
Obviously I made mistakes during my matched betting but as I got used to doing it I was able to learn from them and stop it happening, I'm expecting the same to happen during trading, but I have the mindset to not let the emotion of losing get in the way of knowing that this is long term and I know I'll get better the more I know how it works.
I have questions about trading as has everyone, I can't remember if I read it somewhere else or saw it on one of your videos, but it was to make £10 profit a day trading, is this reasonable, doable or greedy? that kind of appealed to me when I seen it, be it as a beginner or more experienced at what I'll be doing.
I've just watched your first few videos about starting out, you've got me drawn in now and eager to learn, it's all new to me but I find it very interesting and looking forward to what comes of it.

Welcome to the group, great to have you here.
I think you are right with the progression from MB to trading, it’s a great move.
What was the moment you decided that trading offered you more than matched betting?
What questions did you have coming from matched betting? (Do you still have questions).
