Who are you? Ben Dobie, married with a 6 year old boy named Finley

Where are you from? Liverpool ( The Blue Half )

What stage are you at in your trading journey? Not sure really - Having done nothing for two years and considering I wasn't really profitable last time other than a couple of months I suppose I'm still a beginner but with a knowledge of Betfair / Filters / Tracking etc.

What's your background? Deep Sea Logistics / Freight Forwarding Manager

Why did you join BTC? Re-joining as any success I had previously was as part of this community - hoping to be better this time after much self reflection

What do you hope to get from the community? To learn from the best and get a better understanding of the analysis side of things

What are some of your trading goals? I'll go big and say that I'd eventually like to surpass my current income, doing this full time would be a dream come true but last time I was in a rush, this time I'm very much willing to take my time.
I intend to track an old filter which is still in my profile which was very good for late goals tracked over about 6 months in 20/21 and see if it's still profitable, then I need to work out the best way to trade it as for some reason last time I had limited success despite the excellent tracking results. Whilst tracking this I'd like to get started with small stakes testing my discipline on an existing profitable members filter (preferably in play as opposed to set & forget) - open to suggestions 🙂

@Ryan Ha Ha cheers mate....I saw you Twitter post saying we are gonna struggle and replied saying "top 4 easy" so yeah I'm still a bit daft !!

Great to be back, hope I've learned a lot about mindset and patience in my time away ... any of the members filters doing well at the minute I can dip my toe in the water with whilst I test my old strat ?

@Ben-Dobie Great to have you back! Did you see my blog post where I have Everton some heat and thought I better get back to make sure Ryan doesn't give Everton much more? 😉

In all seriousness great to have you back.

@Martin Cheers mate much appreciated....hopefully to stay this time, needed a break as I was spending too much time trying to trade anything and everything football wise, really lost my way.
I looked back at my results of the filter you tested for a bit and couldn't believe the results.....hope it's stood the test of time and my hopefully new found temperament can make it work this time. Great to be back
