Hello, my name is Patrik and I am a conservative trader.
I have purchased strategies and have been having a bad habit of quitting after some losses, even if I know it's wrong and should stick out for the first 100 trades before evaluating the situation.
This has resulted in running around in circles of the doomed and now I sign up here to hopefully change that and become profitable and stick to strategies for the first 100 trades before evaluating the situation.
I am excited about joining BTC

@patrik-mellqvist split stake is one of my most profitable strategies ever.

@patrik-mellqvist I like that you are thinking it through, shows good initiative!
Think you are on the right tracks.
If you get stuck on anything let me know.

This is my sketchbook for now.
Hello, processing again and making some reflection about choosing a strategy.
Maybe is not the best option to choose an already existing strategy ready to go.
Better to think about what kind of trading person I am and come up with a new and fresh idea or get the seed from an old method as an inspiration to make a sequel 2.0
The core is the process of trial and error getting from scratch to the final strategie and then back to the drawing board tweaking and improving and making necessary changes.
That way you gain priceless experience than choosing a ready-to-go strategy out of the box.I like the idea of an Over 1.5 goals strategy and split stake.
Try something similar in the past, but could not get the secret sauce right, the selection.
But after browsing the forum and watching some stats software videos I got some ideas for Over 1.5 goals. Not made up my mind yet and this is just a sketch drawing in my head at the moment.
Cheers

Thanks, Martin ... I just watched the three-step videos.
I have a bunch of trading strategies to choose from and is time for reflection.
My trading personality likes a high strike ratio and pushing for more profits when having a green or having created some leverage to boost profits even higher.
So I think I know what method I will stick to and begin with. What I liked about the videos was the rule of sticking to one strategie only and using the try-and-error principle of things getting forward.
I think a common problem I had and others might have is using several methods and when one gets some bad variance you jump to the next method instead of tweaking and solving the problem. So the message was loud and clear
