Welcome John! I came to BTC around 2 years ago with no trading experience. I only have an interest in football, so that's where I started. I had plans to learn how to trade football and then move onto other sports like Horse Racing and Tennis. I still haven't moved away from football! In all honesty - I don't need too. I make enough from trading football

Like this approach, stick to what you know to start with. You might never need to move into other sports if you get them cracked - which is a solid idea!
I recommend that to anybody, cricket thread here is good too we have some good traders in there!

Football and cricket to start, I enjoy watching both these sports and feel I have enough background knowledge to help me with trading decisions , in the long term I want to learn how to trade racing. Golf and tennis will need to wait as these are two sports I have very little interest in.
I work full time so its only weekend and evening trading for me and with small stakes to begin with until I feel I have confidence in what I am doing.

Hi, thanks for the welcome
I have been trying for a number of years to trade, but never really seem to be able to find the methods or selection criteria that generate profits.
I hope not only to be able to learn the BTC trading methods, but in the long term find some of my own to share with the community.
I guess the end game of being here is to become a full time trader, this at the moment seems long time away, but we live in hope
