Hello everyone,
I'm Jay and I am new here signing up just a few days ago. I am from Wokingham in Berkshire and I am an absolute newbie when it comes to trading. I've done matched betting in the past and I used to enjoy a gamble on the football every Saturday morning (unsuccessfully most of the time but what do you expect when you put £5 on 400/1 accas)
I work in golf course management and golf/football are by biggest interests. I joined BTC in the hope to hopefully make a secondary source of income for a few years and then see where I am at then. One thing I know is that I haven't really been that excited about anything as I am in joining BTC meeting/chatting to as many of you as possible and learning from all of you and really taking this as far as I can go.
So yeah, that's me. Lets do this!

@martin Thanks Martin. I'm going to continue making my way through the academy and I'll reach out if I have any questions. If you see this Ryan, its got to be the most frustrating game in the world but keep at it. I read the email today about golf and trading, I liked the comparison. If you can turn me into a pro trader maybe I can turn you into a pro golfer....or maybe not haha?

@jamie-wright-0 ..have a look at some of the football ideas on Martin's Set and Forget Stategies, loads of ideas to nick and play with off there as a starter then do your own research...Tomacz 1.5 has been very profitable for me over the 3 months I have been here, but I also doctored it for my own strategy. Thanks for the reply mate. Yeah I know what you mean. It feels different. Sounds good, I’ll be following your journey and hopefully picking up some tips from you along the way so we can make some money together. Out of interest have you started trading yet? I’m still watching the academy videos and I want to start trading but for points before using real money as suggested by Ryan/Martin. However I haven’t found that option yet.
