Hi everyone. Excited to be here. Here goes...
[Who are you?] Wayne Thomas
[Where are you from?] Somerset
[What stage are you at in your trading journey?] I have been trading for a little over a month. I have a few strategies that I'm currently testing and gathering lots of data for.
I have a decent bankroll after hammering matched betting for 9 months but have only commited a small portion of it so far. Currently trading a few set and forget BTC strategies with stakes at 2% of bankroll, which are working nicely so far.
Working hard on the mentality side of things which is probably my biggest struggle. Constantly reminding myself to stick to the plan!
[What's your background?] Varied. Worked in banking. Stay at home dad. Fitness and nutrition.
[Why did you join BTC?] I joined BTC to find new trading strategies and learn from experienced traders. I watched a lot of BTC videos on You Tube and you guys came across as very genuine in your want to help others become better traders. I liked the fact that you guys showed your personalities and I was impressed with what you were trying to build.
[What do you hope to get from the community?] I want to surround myself with good traders, learn from them and then eventually give something back too. Having nosed around the forum I'm hoping for some good red wine recommendations too!
[What are some of your trading goals?] Short term - £20 a day. Long term - Full time trading.

Same I know ZERO about it, want to drink nice wine so it helps having some guys here who know what they are talking about!

I have created a strategy within the football software that I'm currently testing. Gathering lots of data for each match, such as half-time/full time scores, goal times and goal totals so I can pivot the strategy if anything sticks out.
Always been a numbers guy, so loving the data collection.
Started trading Dan's LTD and Martin's O1.5 set and forgets which seem like solid strategies. Collecting additional data for these too, just in case there's another angle to exploit.
I have watched the introduction videos and I'm also going through a lot of the BTC content on You Tube. Just trying to take in as much information as possible really. I love learning anything new (NERD!!) so fully throwing myself into it.
I have read through the red wine thread. Lots of knowledge in there. I know next to nothing about wine but I love to drink it! Loving the recommendations.

Love that you liked our personalities too, we do things a little different here to others lol like what's the point in being boring? There's more to life than Betfair and we talk about it all here.
We even started talking about red wine recently?!
