It's Easter weekend and that means lots of league football for us to feast on! As ever these are my trading notes please do your own research to see if you agree with them.

    England League 1:

    Rochdale v Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury - Betfair odds 3.0, Martin's True odds 2.5 (Market underrates Shrewsbury here in my opinion)

    • Rochdale are the worst home team in the league 20pts from 16 games
    • Rochdale have not won in seven games at home
    • Shrewsbury are the second best away team in the league 39pts from 20 games
    • Shrewsbury have won five of their last six away games

I'm not a big fan of taking on home teams but I have no idea why Rochdale are favourites here. Shrews are pushing hard for automatic promotion so motivation will not be an issue. Draw is a danger here and I would back Shrewsbury draw no bet or lay Rochdale if Rochdale go 1-0 up, assume Shrewsbury are playing well enough judging by the inplay stats.

    Plymouth v Southend

Plymouth - Betfair odds 2.6, Martin's True odds 2.0 (Market underrates Plymouth here in my opinion)

    • Plymouth have won 10 of their 19 home games this season including an incredible 9 of their last 10
    • Southend have won just 3 of their 18 home games of which 10 were defeats

Plymouth are pushing for the playoffs so will be fully motivated here, I would have them as bigger favourites than the market currently does. Draw can be covered here and I would back Plymouth draw no bet or lay Southend if Southend go 1-0 up, assume Plymouth are playing well enough judging by the inplay stats.

I will be on the forum from 3pm looking for some good inplay trades.
