    Hi

Signed up to the community as I've got a bit of free time over the summer and have been looking into trading for a while so thought now was a good time to go for it. Also a maths student so naturally love the statistical aspect of trading.

Haven't done a lot of trading in the past other than a bit of scalping and dobbing on small stakes. Have done and still do a bit of matched betting but now at the point where most bookies have gubbed or stake restricted my accounts.

Currently using smarkets rather than betfair but do have a betfair account and was wondering why the traders I see online all only use betfair and never a different exchange?

Looking forward to learning a lot and hopefully making a few quid along the way!

Ah okay I've never had problems with liquidity as I've only used small stakes before but I'll definitely switch to betfair when this becomes a problem. Only using smarkets at the moment because I can get 0% commission from signing up through a matched betting site

@christian-taylor welcome glad you love stats, my kind of guy!

more liquidity and better for software use etc I would say it's hard to trade on anything else personally.

If you need help with anything let me know 🙂

I have a bit of money on Betdaq but the issue with the exchanges other than Betfair is there is no liquidity.

Very difficult to get matched without liquidity.

Wish one of the others would step up and give Betfair competition as they leave a lot to be desired and there Customer Service is shocking most of the time
