Who are you? Gwyn Richards
Where are you from? Near Chorley in south Lancashire
What stage are you at in your trading journey? Embryonic stage. I've been doing matched betting for a couple of months but my accounts are rapidly being restricted and trading seems a more challenging, interesting and sustainable way of (hopefully) making a bit of extra money from sports betting.
What's your background? Engineering
Why did you join BTC? Primarily to try out the software, especially the horse racing software, but also to learn more about how to trade.
What do you hope to get from the community? To learn from the experts!
What are some of your trading goals? Making a profit is the main one. I also want to write my own software for trading (I bought a book on this and am working through it).

@ryan Hey! You and I exchanged a few emails two or three weeks back when I first found BTC. Essentially I found BTC via hearing about Betfair Trading from matched betting / arbing videos and then finding your podcast by searching for trading stuff in Apple podcasts. Since then I've had three bookies' accounts gubbed and so thought I'd start the transition into trading.
Made a couple of quid earlier today on one of the South Korean matches in the daily email btw so thanks for that!
