I decided to join BTC yesterday as I need stats to trade more safely.

A month ago, I saw a post on IG where someone said: if you start trading with $100 and make 3% everyday (staking all your bank everytime), within 365 days you'll get to 1 Million.

The idea excited me so I did exactly that on Smarkets (not paying any commission thanks to Matched betting), and managed to turn that £100 into £765 in about 2.5 weeks.
At some points I was staking £360 per "trade" and getting £14-15 return. I was backing the Under 4.5 and basically taking 4 ticks from my entry point (which sometimes ended up being 7 or 8 ticks because of the spread with Smarkets).

Long story short, I lost it all ! Two trades went against me, with goals one after the other (Lyon vs Bordeaux and another game). Now I'm back to square one, ready to actually start trading and bring some money in, slowly but much safely now.

@jerome-bonneville great to have you here just out of interest if you had to narrow it down what was the #1 reason you joined BTC?

I'm aware of that and that's why at some point I was only using half of my stake, which is still crazy

Now that I'm part of BTC, I'll be able to make more informed decisions and use a better bank roll management to start making better trades.

@jerome-bonneville there's some idiots on social media aren't there! Betting your whole bank every time is only ever going to lead to one result and that is the poor bus!
