So like most ive seen these guys on youtube and following advice as best i can. But i have been jumping in on random trades no research just hitting an hoping and by luck I'm still in profit, I've had a few big losses and im thinking that's just down to my bad trading practice's and maybe being greedy. Last night I lost £250 on the liverpool game, so i decided i needed to come here and see if i can get advice and help.
Is there any strategies with filters that is set up that you can try and follow along to, something that i can try to keep myself disciplined to as i think that's my main issue.
look forward to any advice and feel free to call me a stupid f*** if i share some of my wild stories ( yes i once put £2000 on a tennis match at odds of 1.02 that no surprise swung the other way and give me the biggest sweat of my life)

they want proof of my income but ive been match betting and trading full time since january so my last 3 months bank statements wont show any work income
-
As far as I know mate I've never heard anyone being restricted on BF. As you say they don't care how much you win as they work off commission so it's in their interests to let you deposit as much as you want!
I'd just keep hammering their support channels. Maybe send them a message on Twitter or something? -
yeah betfair exchange has restricted me to £100 a month deposits, should I tell them I was match betting as i know this works with smarkets.

@keith from what i understand thats not a big bankroll for trading, and as its an exchange they shouldnt be restricting you as you arent taking value from them.
Ah I didn't realise you were talking about an exchange mate that is very unusual.

There must be reasons they have restricted your deposits and it's probably as you are doing or have shown you can make a decent profit.
The onlyboptils I can think of is use another bookie or sign up under A family members name.
On a side note care to share how you've been doing so well?

@chris-osborne my bank roll is £3000 thou so its holding me back

hey guys any help with this, ive been restricted to £100 a month deposits and live chat have been no help?
Start small and scale up shouldn’t be risking more than a few % of your bankroll anyway

@carl-ritchie Yes that's how I would play it
-
@ryan cheers I've been so undisciplined its not even funny so just trying to get my head in the right state of not being greedy and sticking to a direct rule.
So for example im going to do the lay under 2.5 goals on the 11:30 - Cagliari v Sassuolo as posted in the forum by keith. So I should lay this so my max loss is £30, not that I will make £30 profit (which would equal £175 liability).
Thanks
-
@carl-ritchie Well thats the stake, thats the max we could lose - we will be trading out before it gets to that loss.
-
so just to check that's the most I should be willing to lose in each trade
-
@carl-ritchie 2-3% matey So £20 or 30 and build it up there
-
@ryan thanks for this, yeah I have been going way over board on my stakes sometimes putting 100% at risk. My hope was to get £100 a day which i have pretty much done since i started 7 weeks ago. I have now cut my bank roll to £1000 and im going to be sensible because only a matter of time to ill get caught out. So with that bank roll what is the minimum you reckon i should be risking on each trade i get on?
-
@carl-ritchie Watch this buddy I show you where to find them
-
@carl-ritchie I'm testing the member strategies here so take a look if anything suits your trading: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1baRoxh9Jup5FkTKptcwgueSHxymonRerebbq24s1FD8/edit#gid=0
start with paper trading or if you can't do that very small stakes, you need some bankroll management by the sounds of it so please read this: https://betfairtradingcommunity.com/en/blog/betfair-trading-bankroll-staking-strategy-how-much-do-you-need
welcome! if you have any q's just ask
