Hi everyone,
My name is Rich, originally I am from Mid Wales but I have also lived in Glamorgan, Oxfordshire, Norfolk, Lincolnshire (Ryan is correct Lincoln is lovely!) and now live on the Isle of Wight. I previously served in the RAF and currently manufacture lifeboats.
I have used Betfair for matched betting for just under a year and have made a little over £1400 but i've only just started to dabble in trading and already made some classic mistakes that people warn about!
I have joined BTC because I found some of the trading videos on YouTube and tried the LTD strategy with small stakes but found the research quite time consuming as I work full time. I am hoping that having the stats software will make me more efficient and profitable.
I am hoping to learn and draw upon the knowledge from the community and I'm also looking forward to communicating with other traders as I get quite a few blank looks from friends and family who I chat to about what I'm trying to do!
My trading goals are to learn how to use and develop systems and I want to earn consistent profits to supplement my income with the view to being able to scale up in the future to give myself the option of trading full time for a living.
I look forward to chatting with and getting to know other members of the community and learning as much as I can.

Well I would say if you have a strategy like this that you ave been testing then I would look to build that kind of strategy out.
So look at the data, you were waiting till 2.0 but was it profitable from 2.4 for example?

@ryan Not 100% sure yet TBH! As I'm fairly new to the trading world I thought I would start off simple and try following your LTD strategy. Initially I was dabbling with entering the LTD market in matches where it was usually 0-0 in the second half. I was waiting for the odds to go below 2.0 to keep my liability lower but I was finding that a lot of the time a goal was scored before the odds got below 2!
I would more than welcome your suggestions if you think your LTD would be best for me to follow, or if there is another I could try on football to get going with. Thanks.

My goal for my first 90 days is to achieve £10 - £15 a day profit whilst learning which strategies and markets would work best for me.
I want to learn to really understand the basics of staking and bank management so I can learn how to scale up in the future once my knowledge base has expanded. I want to be in this for the long haul and want to make sure I can be profitable. I am interested initially in trading football and tennis.
