    Hi, I've been trying to paper trading the under 2.5, I've never actually placed a trade and I'm not sure how to calculate the profit. My entry was £5.00 At 2.2 Exit 1.7 & also Entry 1.9 Exit 1.49 hope someone can help in working out how I would calculate the P&L.

    @terence Hey buddy,

    I replied to your email this morning.

    Dan added some excellent things for you to think about here as well.

    @terence I've just tried that filter and got 2 games, both tomorrow and both non-league so there wouldn't be enough liquidity to do an unders trade successfully.

    Instead, go to "presets" and scroll down until you find the unders template. Then hit edit and you can see what it's comprised of and can make adjustments. I've just looked myself and see it's relatively straight forward, Betfair odds 1.8 or above, 65%+ FT u2.5 and 10+ matches played.

    In terms of where to start I would use that and then think about when you want to enter and exit the trade. For example that filter focuses on FT results so you might want to use it as a set and forget. Alternatively, you might want to adjust the criteria and exit earlier? Once you know how you want to trade it then you can start modifying the filter to suit. Stick at it for a couple of weeks and write down your results. Also write down how you feel and what you like/ don't like and at the end of the 2 weeks make your adjustments. Continue again for another 2 weeks, etc. and before you know it you'll have yourself a decent unders filter that suits your trading personality.

    My tip for unders trading is you want a good amount matched in the market, so at least £5k. This is because you want the odds to be changing quite frequently.

    Hope that was of some help

    @ryan Hi Ryan thanks for getting back to me so quickly much appreciated. I am struggling with were to start my trading journey I've got information overload 😫 and feel like my head is going to explode. I literally don't know what to do or where to start. I do like the idea of trading the under 2.5 market and LTD draw but I haven't had any success with LTD at kick-off or in the second half around the 60th minute they always seem to end up drawing, maybe it's my match selections as I'm not sure how to go about finding my selections. Also, you put together for me a strategy for the under 2.5 which was much appreciated but I've since added Overall > Total > Goals 0-10 > equal to 0 as new criteria but not sure if I've done it right as it's gone from showing plenty of selections to none.

    @terence I don’t think I added that one to the filter for you, as well I built it was only the 3.

    You’ll want to click edit on the filter then add overall > total > goal time 0-15 > equals less than equal to 0.

    Then save it’ll add it to the filter for you.

    @ryan Hi Ryan so sorry to be a pest but I've logged into the BTC Software and it's still only showing criteria 1 criteria 2 & 3 only it's not showing criteria 4 for no goals scored in the first 15 minutes of a game, hope to hear from you soon.

    @terence You can use this one https://help.smarkets.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115002171411-Hedging-calculator

    £1.29 would be the profit in the 2.2 example.

    £1.22 in the second one.

    Looks promising to me!

    @Terence I have dabbled in this market, but after taking advice and reading what others recommend in here, I only focus on LTD, so though I can't help you, I know there are others who will.
