Where are you from? UK
What stage are you at in your trading journey? I am familiar with Betfair and Smarkets through Matched Betting however I really feel like I'm missing out on the secret sauce to make money. I want to learn how to capitalise on the odds changing throughout games as I'm sure there are several "patterns" (strategies) that can be identified, I just don't know what they are (yet).
What's your background? Web Development
Why did you join BTC? It's one thing watching a video but I really wanted my hand held trading as I'm messing around with real money and want help gaining confidence in trading.
What do you hope to get from the community? To learn all I can to help me gain a steady (even small) income.
What are some of your trading goals? Automation and consistency in income.

I love the other points. Having a plan and confidence in that is key, many people don't really know what they are doing but trick themselves that they do.

@ryan Few silly things but these were the key ones for me.
- Actually picking the selections you implement these strategies on, instead of just any old game which they don't tell you that crucial part in free youtube videos...
- Strike rate vs proportionate odds and probability to get value in the trade (before I was just placing bets on things that didn't have value and the strike rate didn't return any profit) . This has also given me a new perspective when looking at my own systems or evaluating others.
- Actually having faith in a plan and being disciplined enough to stick to it. I've never had faith in any "plan" I've used in the past especially any that involved dodgy tipsters. Matched Betting was my solid plan but the returns were not as great as I'd have liked. I like the strategies used at BTC (admittedly I feel I've just scraped the surface but really liking the experience so far)

Wow, just wow! I'm only 7 days in and I feel like I've learned so much! I feel like all these years betting, the penny has finally dropped. I have lost and gained so much but even the past week I've been paper trading then putting small stakes into action and wow! Thanks BTC for the clarity and logic behind each strategy, I feel like this is the beginning of an amazing journey and I'm so looking forward to it! I'm also thankful I'm surrounded by an amazing group of people. Thanks so much @Ryan

@Ryan I have an issue with the stats software and creating filters
I watched the video on it, and went to create a filter, but I didn't seem to save. But I might have been doing it wrong. In the email you sent out yesterday, you say todays email will cover how to use the software, shall I wait for that one or is there a video i can look at which explains it more
Sorry to be a pain, but what I have see of it, seems like it can save me ton of work

We are getting a lot more people with web dev skills look at trading and how they can apply their skills to what we do on the exchanges so will be exciting to see where you go with it.
