What's your background?
Varied and Eclectic! Trained as an Actor/Singer with years of semipro work, Career in Financial Services, then Sales, then my first midlife crisis when I took on a Pub. Left the trade early this year and spent lockdown matched betting. Years of online poker and casual sports betting, and years of watching and playing sport. Cricket is my game of choice and I met Andrew Strauss this evening.
Why did you join BTC?
I found the podcast and it gave a lot more detail than all of the other youtube videos that I have trawled through. Various gubbings and the massive variance of 2ups and EPs led me to believe that there had to be a better way than matched betting.
What do you hope to get from the community?
I guess I'm looking for a pathway to get me started.
What are some of your trading goals?
Well who doesn't want to earn money watching sport? It would be great if I could make that my working life. Not keen on heading back into the corporate world.
In the short term I am looking to add an income stream to the other stuff I have going on and see where that takes me.Cheers!

I’m spending this week reading the blog and the forum, and listening to the podcast. Hopefully I will come up with some ideas about how to start, but keen to get in on Wimbledon.

Great to have you here and my gosh what a story as well that is interesting, you mentioned that you are looking at a pathway to get started you should be getting the brand new emails for getting you set up on the community as well now which should explain everything - if you get stuck then let me know!
