@andrew-page That's amazing, that would be a lot more than most get as well.
You can build on that as well, I think for a lot of people they actually need to see this can be done then they can believe in themselves more.

@Michael-Rathbone Its worth remembering (I mentioned this to another today) how the people who make a full time income from trading got there?
They built their banks, the person today said its pointless doing low stakes lays on the strategy I want to be doing £100 lays, but you dont get to the £100 lays without doing the £10 ones.
Nothing is pointless its the lessons learnt whilst low stakes building up
even a dripping tap fills a bath
My lays last year produced a profit of £1700 not much by some standards but its decent profit for £20 straight lays every day is a learning day even for me -

@Martin presumably need a pretty big bank
yep you can compound and build over time though, one of the biggest mistakes new traders make is trying to rush the process or starting with bigger stakes than they are comfortable losing.

@Michael-Rathbone yeah quite a few do

@Michael-Rathbone just trading in general on here.

@Michael-Rathbone follows the daily email and lives off it?
-
@Michael-Rathbone Amazing! Glad you liked the content there.
-
@Martin I've watched the vids and like the look of a couple of the presets. I notice that an email comes out daily covering some of those apart from the lay the 3rd fav. My main question would be is there anyone on the site who does this for a living?
-
@Michael-Rathbone Welcome to the group!
is that how you found us from the YT videos? -
@Michael-Rathbone straight lays? what kind of criteria are you currently using?
-
Hi I'm new here. Watched hours of the vids before joining. Mainly interested in the horse racing and footy laying. Watched horse racing for may years so understand the sport but new to the laying side. Been laying for a few weeks now with mixed results using my knowledge of horses, stats etc... but looking to get a more concrete strategy in place now as I would like to do this FT. Looked at the vids highlighting numerous ones but hard to pin down which would be a good one as a new starter.

That positive disposition is responsible for a lot of things you know! I've wore many people down with it, well done for lasting so long. I joke...
It's hard though isn't it to admit that we dont really know, I heard Tony Robbins on a podcast talking about when he realised he needed to be around people who were at the level he wanted to be at then it all changed for him, James Milner also mentioned this when talking of being called up to the England squad.
Being around players of a higher level made him level up his game.

@Adam-Murphy is that step 1-4 then yes if so.
These are the ones I have written:

@Martin Hi Martin, thanks for the email.
I have just finished all of Adams video on the Horse racing and have watched the intro clips 1-4 from Ryan. Are they the Supertrader ones?
Determine to use minimal stake before stepping up as that is what alwasy catches me out. Do you have any further bankroll management pieces, i saw what was in the 1-
4 from Ryan.Cheers! Adam
-
@Adam-Murphy welcome! Have you gone through Super Trader yet?
-
@Ryan I'm not sure really
I guess your positive disposition just wore me down!
In truth I think it was probably my ego, thinking that I knew what i was doing and that I can work it out myself, however despite periods of doing really well, lack of discipline and adherence to set strategy has ultimately let me down. And I have been doing this a long time now, so am really kicking myself for not having it buttoned down.
And its just been going on too long. I've really enjoyed the content from Martin, Adam and yourself, so here I am.
looking forward to getting stuck in.
thanks for your reply mate.
Cheers, Adam
