    Hi guys,

My name's Sam I'm 31 years old from Grimsby. I'm back for my 2nd attempt at becoming a semi-pro sports trader.
I was here a couple of years ago but with bad bank management and discipline ended up going tilt and lost everything Id spent months building up.

I've had a bit of time out and now feel In a better head space to give it another try.
Originally I was trading the over 1.5 goals market and was getting quite good at feeling when the next goal was likely to be scored. I'll start again with this method and try learn others along the way.

My aim is to do this around work and have a nice second income and hopefully become a good trader so that in 7 years when my time is up in the military I can do sports trading full time.

Really good idea, sounds like you are coming at it from a much better point of view this time around.

    Great work!

    Hi All,
Just introducing myself. Just joined. My name is Steve and I am based up in Cumbria. Been around trading for little while but with limited success. Currently work full-time in the civil service. My main aim will be to develop some consistency in my trading, develop some strategies and hopefully develop a 2nd income. I have also purchased trading programs previously but I think the forum is going to be a really important part of my journey this time round.

Welcome to the group! Great to have you here, look forward to following your journey.

    @nana-mills Welcome!

We seem to have a few members from the Nordic countries as well which is exciting, great to have a trainee doc around the place too!

Great to have you here! Let me know if you get stuck with anything.

@nana-mills welcome! I always use the analogy of a trainee doctor in my podcasts when talking about having the patience to learn a skill, so it's great to have one here!

    Who you are? Andy Cripps
Where you are from? West Sussex
What stage are you at in your trading journey? At the beginning 🙂 although I know my way around an exchange and am modestly successful within forex.
What's your background? Been matched betting full time for 6 years but am a bit bored of it now, plus it's become much more effort for much less reward.
Why did you join BTC? I was looking for somewhere where I could be introduced to some strategies without getting overwhelmed and avoiding 'get rich quick' hype.
What do you hope to get from the community? It's always great to be part of a larger 'mastermind' group to learn from and then hopefully graduate to a point I can pay it back by contributing and helping others.
What are some of your trading goals? Consistency, consistency and consistency.

@ryan; @Lewis-Mitchell First of all welcome Lewis I can vouch for the Projected Holds strategy Ryan explained. The one caveat I would add is thatfor me it works better in non grand Slam tournaments
