Hi All,
Who are you?
Sam HankinWhere are you from?
Grimsby (Lincolnshire)What stage are you at in your trading journey?
Right at the start, I only found out about sports trading at the start of October 2019, Ive already made a lot of mistakes by wanting to get involved in every game without doing research before hand ect. I have watched tons of videos on youtube and listened to the BTC podcast on my way to work and im slowly becoming more disciplined because of it.What's your background?
I'm currently an Aircraft TechnicianWhy did you join BTC?
I joined because I wanted to find a place to talk to other like minded people about trading, discuss new ideas and make use of all the stats and news available on BTC.What do you hope to get from the community?
I want to improve my trading techniques and meet like minded people along the way. What are some of your trading goals?
I'm starting with a fairly small bank and my aim is to build it up until I can match my monthly income from work with what I earn from trading.Another goal is to become more disciplined with trading and I think by researching good trades by using the software available will stop my jumping into dodgy trades or trading on Kazakhstan Division 2 with 0 liquidity just because its on.
Lets do this!

-
@Martin-Futter OTBC... CTID!!!
-
@Ben-Jolley yes started off with UFT almost 2 years ago and it's an okay course... But, liabilities are big if you dont get the right selection.
That's where the Software Beast they've created here kicks in.
-
@alan-steward Did you do the Ben's UFT course? He does that fireball method? I was gonna do that course but thought it was too expensive. He is bloody good though. I choose to invest in these guys. The best thing ive ever done. You will learn so much and yes the stats software is unreal. Check the ratings bit as well and make a system that suits you, its worked for me. Start putting up your selections, I'm sure everyone will follow. People will help your strike rate as well. There are some great traders on here and it looks like you can be one of the pack. Welcome aboard.
-
@Ben-jolley cheers mate I normally do fhg, O1.5 goals using the old Fireball method & Correct Score dutching 1-3, 2-2 & 3-1.
That said they seem to keep things really simple here and clearly the stats software helps to do that... Its awesome!!!
-
@alan-steward 10 points profit a month is all you need. £20000 bank and you're laughing. I think your skills we be very much welcome here sir. You can probably make that 20 points following some of the pros here. I.E Keiths football selections and Martins horse selections. Good luck on your journey

Hi all,
I joined a few weeks ago and wanted to introduce myself. I've looking at trading for a about 6 months after a working through match betting offers. Before then I'd never been into a bookies or even placed a bet so completely green to it all.I've mainly been trading tennis and after losing half my bank on Williams v Halep at Wimbledon (how did Williams not get a single break??) I've been reassessing my approach. I'm tending toward focusing more on automation rather then live trading as it seems to fit better with my intended life style with 2 young kids.
I'd like to develop some solid startegies with the help of BTC to generate a second income at take the pressure off from having to work for the man (Aerospace Engineering).
Cheers,
Jim
