Glad to be here,
I guess the main thing I need at the moment is education, I have done the Bet Angel courses and have Bet Angel software and I have also done the Ultimate Football Trading course. Now I am making my way through the BTA Academy courses, When I have finished that I will need a starting point which I guess will be one strategy on one sport, probably football, although cricket and tennis look like good sports to trade with the rapid movement in prices
While writing this I realise I don't really know where to start so any advise would be welcome, but probably hard to advise if you don't know where I'm at in regard to educating myself, I have used some strategies over the last 2 months on football and my bank has gone up and down and I am where I started
Anyway, bit of a ramble but was the best way I know to answer the question -

What stage are you at in your trading journey, Just starting in my journey, done a few courses but wish I had found you first
What's your background? I run my own business installing and maintaining security systems
Why did you join BTC? Want trading to be my full time income and as i have found with life, you can not succeed on your own, some one always know more than you
What do you hope to get from the community? A place to share ideas and get advice from people who have already made the mistakes, not say I wont make any, to gain the knowledge of what a good strategy requires to stay profitable in the long term, how to understand data to make my own informed decisions

• What's your background? Predominately financial although that changed courtesy of the pandemic.
• Why did you join BTC? I want to join the 5% club
• What do you hope to get from the community? Ideas and hopefully some positive chats, trading is a lonely hobby
• What are some of your trading goals? Short term, looking to improve my trading overall, two sports I currently trade are football and horse racing but I'm also a forex trader so not looking to increase the amount of specialisms. Long term I'm hoping to be able to trade full time but I'm going to be patient and incredibly risk averse. Looking to move strategies into automation where I can. -

@ryan-carruthers Yes it does but you have to be able to trigger signals and rules. I think its more orientated to Horse racing then football.

Hi all!
I am Babs from East London. I work in the financial services industry. I have been matched betting for a while. If anyone has done matched betting in the past, they would know that opportunities thin out with time due to constant gubbing by the bookies. I have been interested in Betfair trading for a while but I didn't know where to start. I did a bit of research on my own, learned a few strategies, made a bit of money and then lost it all - a story similar to a lot of beginners I am sure.
The last few weeks I had been looking for a place or a community to join, suitable for beginners like me. A few days ago, I stumbled upon BTC and I really liked what I saw. No boasting, no sales pitch. Ryan and Martin came across to me as genuine chaps and it didn't take me long to make the decision to join.
My goals are simple. In the short term, I am looking to simply test and learn the strategies and improve my reading of stats and live gameplay. Once I have enough experience and confidence, only then I will increase my bank roll. I am excited to start my BTC journey and make some friends along the way.

Hi everyone,
I'm Dan from South London. I'm relatively new to trading and really got into it by accident. As soon as I understood about time decay I started backing U2.5g market with reasonable success (as a Crystal Palace fan I'm used to lack of goals!) but would wipe out any profit whenever I ventured into other strategies.
I joined BTC to be part of a community of like-minded individuals who want to help one another. In terms of trading goals I would like to build up my confidence and work on skills that are transferable with my life (time management, handling stressful situations, etc.).
I come into this completely humble and ready to learn. I'm excited for the adventure and can't wait to see where this takes me.

Great to have you here, similar story to a lot of people as well. Which types of trades have you been doing on the football?
Is there anything you want to achieve in the next 90 days?
