yes, i have went through all the videos. i found them very informative and made things clearer for me. i am paper trading till after Cheltenham , i have been using the preset strategies which have been showing a great level of profit and will continue to use them at 10 pound unit stakes until i get more confident in myself and the use of the software when i may try and adapt a few for hopefully larger returns. i am definitely here for the long term as i say there are proven strategies but once you get more confident you can alter them or create your own, however the fact people share existing ones i think is brilliant. thanks you all Billy. -

Hi, just a quick hello from me, I'm Scott from Sheffield.... sounded like a Blind Date introduction if you're old enough to remember the TV show!
A match better for the last 2 years which has built a bank to help me on the trading path. Dabbled in sports trading but feel i need to help and guidance of this community. Tried other platforms but not for me.
Trading at the side of my full time job (helps when you WFH!) and hope to hit around £300 profit per month as I steadily learn and build my bank allowing me to make higher profits. Using this time to learn so hopefully 1 day i reach my goal of trading in the sun!
Up £21.90 today using £2 stakes following the Horse set & forgets so far today which is a lovely start.
Already have BF manager and looking to import the set and forgets but not the most tech savvy so might be a struggle!
Looking forward to the journey!

Im the third Scotland based newbie in a row, staying in sunny North Ayrshire for the past 7 years. Originally from New Zealand. My wife was born in Lincolnshire and I lived(and played rugby) in Norwich in the early 90s so already feel a strong bond with Ryan and Martin

Ive been matched betting for 6 months and dabbling in trading for the last month or so.
Spent 30 odd years as a joiner but for the last 7 have been an at home dad to 2 girls(7 and 3)
Why did I join? To stop you guys spamming me with emails
The one that got me was the how much time I would save with the software.
Instant profitable strategies with a view to creating my own...hopefully in Rugby union!
Learn learn learn. Develop a steady income, take pressure of my wife who is sole income earner without having to get a job when the youngest starts school!Good to be here

I am originally from Ayrshire but live in Glasgow.
I have gambled for most of my life but really got interested in trading last year.
I have worked in social services mainly addiction related (Drugs and Alcohol)
I joined BTC to learn off others and enable myself to put more thought and discipline behind my trades and get support off others going through the same experience.
Knowledge, ideas, support and continuous learning
My ultimate trading goals are a secondary income in order to reduce my working hours. -

My problem is probably lack of focus. I have been trying different things but mostly:
Tennis:
- Lay the 1st set winner
- Back the server – only in set for a small profit
- Finding matches the momentum have shifted and then backing the player that have “turned” the match
Football:
- Lay the draw before a goal has gone in and green up when a goal goes in or I am in red with 50% of the stake – then take the loss
- Over 2.5 in matches with not much activity – I will go in and out for very small profit
I have tried to automate lay the draw a few years ago – but did not follow it to the end.
I guess I am quit risk adverse – I like to get at small profit everyday – that’s fine for me. Over a year it adds up. I am not sure where this will take me – but I have the time needed to slowly progress.

I am René from Denmark.I have always been fascinated by the betting industry but quickly found out that finding the “winner” is hard and that the odds are stacked against you if you just “bet”.
Spend a lot of time as a “sure-better” 10 years ago and got limited on all the bookmakers, but not on Betfair. I came across “trading” and have used Bet Angel on and off the last couple of years with some success.
I was looking for tennis/football stats and came across BTC. I don’t know where this will take my trading there is a lot of improvement to be done. There is a lot of things to read, watch, digest and understand, and I am really looking forward to it. From my first glance I must say it looks very interesting.

In that case I would say if you were thinking about spending that kind of money you might be better placed getting a 6 month sub here @Caroline.

With regards to the course and whether it is right for me. I guess what I am after is a framework to help me develop my own strategies, so I can both help my profit and give back to those on this forum.
I know something about racing and nothing about the other sports, and in any event, my scout around the website so far suggests that you come to racing from a slightly different angle, in that it seems to be more about how Betfair users react than the form of the horse itself. This requires a bit of a shift in mindset, so maybe football will be easier for me to start with.
Football also has the advantage of being a bit more predictable with higher strike rates which should help with the bank growth
The strategies would need to be set and forget/automated preferably first thing in the mornings. I have zero interested in watching games.
I am interested in extracting long term value, but don't necessarily know how to find it

Thanks Jon, Most of my 'betting career' has been based around the horses so football..and the other sports are very new to me
