@maciej-kaczmarek welcome!
How has your trading been going so far? What markets do you usually trade?
-
Hello guys
Very happy to join your community! My name is Maciej (you can say Matteo or Satoshi, if easier).
I am from Poland but live in Malta.I love betting a lot, for many years already, my goal is to become a professional trader and make a living out of it.
I have been betting myself with success, but usually a little unstable, so still far from being able to make it my future. Betfair and the access to stats will hopefully help me.I made my first bet when I was 14, and since being a student I have bet frequently but also taking longer breaks in between.
I hope to get some good tips, strategies, and boost my performance. Also, I want to take a step into becoming a pro.I have some favorite strategies already, many ideas, and would like to polish them to make them more efficient.
Also, I do not know any strategies for tennis and basketball. Furthermore, the access to such a great choice of statistics is already worth joining.Let's hope for a great journey together!
Cheers

@kevyn-clark Rrrr yes the dreaded doom loop! I might do my next YouTube video on this!
-
@ryan Thank you, I think the cycle is caused by me getting frustrated when I get some bad trades, my discipline then goes out the window, and I chase those losses. They are caused I think by a combination of overtrading and getting into trades for the wrong reasons. I am hoping maybe being here is the start of a change for the better.
-
@kevyn-clark Welcome! Great to have you here, you are in the right place now I am sure.
Let's help you break the cycle. What do you think causing the cycle?
-
@dave-hayes Thank you
-
@kevyn-clark welcome hopefully we can help you sort the discipline side of it just imagine us frowning at you every time you are tempted to chase a loss!
-
@kevyn-clark Welcome Kev, your in ther right place to learn more

Hi Guys
My name is Kev, I am from Essex
I have been trading on and off for about 5 years with limited success, I started match betting originally and when that started to dry up I turned my focus to trading. Initially I started with horses trying to scalp the markets pre-race and in play back to lay but really struggled with it tbh, I moved over to football and had a bit more success mainly on the over 1.5 goals market but I found if I hit a losing patch my discipline would fail and i would chase losses etc and make rash trades out of frustration and then think this isn't for me, I can't make this profitable etc and then walk away for 6 months or so and then come back again rinse and repeat, I am hoping to try and break this cycle moving forward.
My background is that I work in IT
I joined BTC because I want to find a community where I can grow as a trader and interact with other like minded people and learn as much as I can.
I would really like to consitently make a profit from trading part time and maybe in the future make a full time career from it.

Hi guys,
My name's Sam I'm 31 years old from Grimsby. I'm back for my 2nd attempt at becoming a semi-pro sports trader.
I was here a couple of years ago but with bad bank management and discipline ended up going tilt and lost everything Id spent months building up.I've had a bit of time out and now feel In a better head space to give it another try.
Originally I was trading the over 1.5 goals market and was getting quite good at feeling when the next goal was likely to be scored. I'll start again with this method and try learn others along the way.My aim is to do this around work and have a nice second income and hopefully become a good trader so that in 7 years when my time is up in the military I can do sports trading full time.
Really good idea, sounds like you are coming at it from a much better point of view this time around.
Great work!

@sam-hankin welcome back!
