Introduce Yourself to the Community

Hi everyone
I recently joined the community after seeing videos of the stats software on Youtube (it is fantastic!).
I am based in Richmond upon Thames.
I have spent a long time on betfair, playing around with various football strategies but never found something profitable long-term, but am hoping this may change through following a couple of the strategies in the daily emails. I have never been a trader, instead I have always just bet (90% of my bets have been on over 2.5 goals) - I think the main problem with this approach has been the lack of research/stats, my ideal approach and something that I am keen to explore is finding an over 2.5 goals filter that can be used as a set and forget method.
I have an IT and finance professional background, and am a big football fan - I will watch most games on TV, if I can make that profitable then even better!
I am pleased to be here, and look forward to reading and sharing ideas and strategies - if anybody would be so kind to get me started on the over 2.5 filter I mention I will be very grateful indeed!

Where are you form: Yorkshire
What stage of the journey: I have been dabbing a few years on and off. I seem to start with a plan and as the winning mount up my plan seems to fade away. I have been a member before but as the video says, I didn't put much in to the site and therefore didn't benefit from everything the community has to offer.

Why did you join BTC: To start over with clear friendly advice.
What do I hope to get out of the community: I hope to learn and chat to people who understand what we do, share ideas etc
Trading goals: Be consistent and earn a steady income from trading.
