Thanks to the team for having this forum to allow folk like us to get some help. I'm very new to betting, just started about two months ago, never placed a bet prior. I started with Bet365, but came across lots of stories about folks accounts getting limited or closed, I didn’t want to settle there, because I wanted to get into this almost full-time. I kept searching, found Pinnacle. The pros of pinnacle is that they don't limit nor shutdown winning accounts, they allow arbs, and they allow bitcoin deposits and withdrawals. I learned that there are soft bookmakers such as Bet365, and then there are also sharp bookmakers such as Pinnacle. The biggest problem that I found with Pinnacle was its live play. The games are locked very often, you have to hunt to find your chance of placing a counter-bet to cancel a loss. It was during my random research in betting that I discovered exchanges, how they work etc... Then after watching lots of videos on YT about betfair, I saw lots of advantages that it has over traditional bookmakers. Although there’s extra liability that you have to deal with in exchanges, on the other side, they open up a whole new world of live game trading and strategies across different sports. Mind was blown watching different strategies, so I decided to join betfair. The next logical step would be to learn as much as possible about it, and that’s how I found myself here.

@martin-futter Thank you! Yes, betfair is accessible, although they don't accept our cards, we have to deposit and withdraw via bank wire, which can take like two days. Currently waiting for my Skrill & Neteller accounts to be verified , hope I'll get instant deposits sorted with those. There are several African countries where betting is big. When they learn / discover about exchanges, they'll be joining such forums.
