Hi, I’m Mark (aka Kitch) from Newbury, Berkshire.
I began matched betting in 2018. Approached it nervously and missed the opportunity to take a lot out of it before being gubbed. One thing led to another, discovered BF trading and was immediately taken in by horse race trading. Since then all I seem to watch is trading videos but I watch everything, jump around all over the place with no structure or plan. (Am I the only one who trades on his phone while at work? Shameful!!) The frequency of races has me always looking for that next chance to make a quick buck and whilst my recent strike rate has been good, my staking is so small that a string of wins is easily wiped out by a stupid, greedy (often in-play) loss.
So I’ve joined BTC in the hope that it will give me a single of source of truth on which to focus my attentions and hopefully learn some patience and discipline. My plan is to give the horses a rest and, through BTC, move to football (and possibly even tennis), understand some of the strategies, find one and stick with it.
I have no aspirations of trading for a living. My immediate goal is to be profitable to any amount by June and if I can be making about 100 quid a month by the end of the year it’ll be 2020 mission accomplished. Although Coronavirus may have something to say about that….
Stay safe everyone, see you on the Forum.
